At the league the other day I had an in counter that made me want to try kingdra out. So I came up with this list. Is this a deck to try or not?

Pokemon:
4-3-4 Kingdra
2-0-2 Alakazam
3-3 Cladoll
2 regice

T,S,S
4 BTS
4 Candy
4 Bebe's
4 Roseans
2 Expert belt(I hate this card but think its nesisary)

Energy
4 multi energy(for alakizam and claydoll)
15 :water:

Stratigy: Averige kingdra stratagy swarm and donk. Stop :ppowr: with Alakazam alwase discard :water: so that later kingdra's first attack can do lots of damage.

So should I try this or not?

This should go under deck help and strategy. As for the answer I would say no. Kingdra isn't as good as it used to be. Donphan is better in almost all ways and is still not the best deck right now.

Kingdra is a decent deck in itself, but it has trouble when it comes to big tournaments. With Luxray GL becoming a rampant play/ tech in peoples decks it has becoming increasingly harder stand up on its own.

Putting Alakazam in the deck is perfect. I would suggest you reduce both Alakazam and Regice to a one line up. Reason being is that Kingdra all in all is a swarm deck and you want to keep it consistent when you draw. I have compiled the changes that would best improve your deck:

-4 Multi
-3 Water

+2 Night Maintenance
+2 Warp Point
+2 Uxie
+1 Expert Belt

-1-1 Alakazam
-1 Regice
-1 Bts

+4 Poke Drawer
