Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Korean Base Unlimited

Remember a while back discussing here a foreign language base series that only had 1st edition. I thought it referred to Korean but today I found some unl and am confused.

I've only ever found 1 variant of Chinese. Traditional Taiwan characters for both Base set and EX Legend Maker. I've also seen some pictures of Unlimited Korean Base, but I had once thought they didnt have Unlimited because I couldnt find the ones I was looking for anywhere.

I recently went through some card boxes I hadn't seen in a decade and am organizing the over 30,000 foreign base cards. There's thousands of every language and both unl and 1st editions but only about 20 Korean unlimited.
I'm really curious why so few?

I wish I had an answer. I dont really know enough about that. But I have seen many 1st edition cards for sale but never unlimited. Maybe a ship carrying a whole load of them capsized!

Bump with new info. I was just recently told by a Pokemon collector in S. Korea that Unlimited cards were not produced in Korean, only 1st edition. This is directly in contradiction to the photo you have Gary. Perhaps something else is going on? Were the cards commons and uncommons only? Maybe they are fake or errors. My source might even be misinformed, but I am having a hard time understanding why there are so few of them. I wish I could hear back from Ottawacollector, because he said he had a few Base Unlimited Korean cards. Besides the cards in the picture and what Ottawacollector has told me, I have never seen or heard of any other Unlimited Korean card. I will see if I can get to the bottom of this!

That's very interesting. I'm guessing the guy doesn't know for sure. I'd like to see an unlimited pack. That should clear things up.
