latias ex - bright down ability

hi, there pokegym people!

i have a doubt regarding this pokemon ability...how would it work when two latias ex w/ bright down ability face each other in battle? would there be damage done or not?

If latias ex attacks another latias ex, barrier break will do 70 damage to the other latias. Barrier break's damage will ignore all the effects on the defending Pokemon. This means that whether it is a latias ex or a plasma klinkklang the damage will always be 70.
