Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

LCQ+Worlds Updates

Nope. They will likely announce it at the Closing Ceremonies.

What I've been told is that it's a surprise announcement, which partially explains why it wasn't revealed with the card in the binders.

Is player #13 Clifton Goh competing without a Vilepume in his deck? And wow only one Eels deck made the top cut!!

It is outside of the US so they have to reveal it after the tournament or a sh1t storm will ensue.

i think it's more like it's in hawaii again.i'd be suprised if it would be in europe because as i have already said-worlds is controlled by US and Japan and they both don't want it anywhere else than USA.
Europe doesn't have any influence whatsoever.

jmho though

shoot! >.< Aaron Curry is facing Jay Hornung! I want both of them to do well, but do they have to start off against each other? D: (I want Aaron to win, cause he's using zeels....)

I really hate to see so many 5-2's miss cut, especially only being 3 people shy of hitting T32...I really, really wish they would play one more round of swiss, ESPECIALLY in situations like this...

Actually, looks like they missed T32 by ONE player...the least the could have done was allow one more grinder in...

You know it is possible for someone to not be based out of Europe and support having the World Championship in Europe. It would make a lot of sense to have it in Europe next year to help solidify the player base and grow enthusiasm.

Patricio is playing darkrai moo2 tornadus

Worlds 2013 WILL be announced during closing. vancouver looking very likely

Follow me for updates as they happen: @thewossy

Gonna post my predictions here as well.

Top 4:

Dylan Bryan (Terrakion/Mewtwo) vs. Yuta (Darkrai/Mewtwo)

Stephen Tobaco (CMT) vs. Michael Pramawat (Darkrai)

Then I'm calling:

Pram vs. Dylan Bryan with Dylan Bryan sweeping his way through the tournament from the 16th seed.

Honestly, the kid plays straight Darkrai in T16, Darkrai/Mewtwo or Darkrai/Terrakion in T8, then he has a 50% chance to play a Darkrai based deck in T4 (he'd autolose to Accelgor if he played that but CMT is definitely doable, just difficult), and then a 7/8 chance to play a Darkrai or Eelektrik based deck in T2.

Really, you can't ask for much more. As long as he gets the good matchup in top 4, I say he wins.
