League Season 12 reporting (and random comments about Season 13 reporting)

My concern is that i've almost got 20 Leaguers and only access to 7 birthdates right now. I can grab as many DOBs that show up Saturday but if for some reason only 2 people show i'm out of luck.

And who knows maybe after this Sat, i'll have more than 20......

I'm not sure how we knew, but (fortunately) we've been getting everyone's DOBs -- ever since we started our league -- even before we got our POP ID cards....

..... Probably because of the age group classifications for POP tournaments.....

I've asked Eric to work on a solution to this for this season. We're not 100% sure that it'll work so I don't want to say what it is until its actually implemented to avoid causing further confusion. Once we've got it squared away, we'll announce it via email.

Trust me, I'm far more unhappy about this situation than all of you combined.

I spoke to Mike today and they are working full tilt to get the problems fixed. As usual, I'm having a few that go beyond the norm (I'm exceptional ). I'm going to enter as many as I can tonite. Get as many Bday tomorrow and see what happens.

Two problems down, a few more to go...

FOR KNOT ISLAND SEASON ONLY, birth dates are not required when adding players with existing POP IDs to your league's roster. You still need to enter their POP ID, first and last name, and gender. Leave the date of birth at its default setting.

If you are adding a player with a new POP ID that you haven't previously uploaded, you MUST enter their date of birth along with the rest of their information.

Additionally, if your leagues were missing from your profile, they're back. They were initially missed because play times were not submitted for those locations. You MUST enter play times before you'll be able to order your Boon Island kits.

I'll update all League Owners and Leaders via email once the system is working fully.

I want to be able to get enough supplies to support all my participants, but I can't guarantee I'll have all the birthdates by this weekend, since we have so many people, and quite a few only come bi-weekly.

I appreciate all the hard work that PUI has put into this year's OP season. The original post I made here was inappropriately negative. We (I, especially) need to roll with the punches as the inevitable glitches get ironed out. I wish I had more free time to work on it from my end...

I'm not sure I understand the problem. If your users already have a POP ID (you didn't have to give them a POP ID card when they joined) you do not have to report their birthdates for Knot Island.

For everyone that you had to give a POP ID card to, you should have the left half of the card with all of their information so you shouldn't have a problem entering their date of birth.

In the spirit of your new Professor Core Values, Mike, I'd like to get in touch with you personally before I rant on the pokegym any further about this subject. Seeing that I can't find your email address at this particular time, I hope you don't mind a private message here on the gym. I plan on going to league today and minimizing any problems I may incurr by getting as many POP id's and birthdates as I can, that I haven't already received, upload about 10 or so, then give you a pm. Hopefully it will go smoother than I envisioned. In the meantime, if you would rather that I send an email to you instead of a private message here on the gym (it may be more convenient for you this way), please let me know in a private message (it's more convenient for me - this is where I do most of my communicating).
