Level Ball Error

Like the Dialga G LV. X error, this appears to be a problem with missing pigmentation. I've found two of these, but the other is more of an in between meaning it has some light purple in the background (still nothing like the deep purple of all the other Level Balls I've pulled).

I'm trying to figure out how uncommon this is. Has anyone else found any like these?

My opinion, you just got a darker printed card or something...
Since it is so minor

Nah- it's the difference between having the dark pigment and not having the dark pigment. Not exactly minor, though it is on a low interest (in terms of collectibility) card.

I have 17 level balls and 1 of them had the coloration difference, now it makes me intrested on what these are really worth.

Variations like that don't have much extra value.
There is no demand for it.
You put it in your binder and say "look at this error card" and people say "huh?"

Unless of course it's done on a more desirable card, like the Dialga G LV. X. But I would still like to hear from others who have found one to get a rough idea of how wide spread it is.

To both of you. Not everyone does that to errors. Some errors are very very valuable. I know collectors would want many errors. I know everybody knows of the Base Set Pre-release Raichu and how 4 copies to the public there is. Pokemon keeps 2 of them. The most recent one was sold at $24,000. My friend owns one as well. So some people do not just say "Huh that's weird that card has a different texture/color that it should have". While someone would say "Oh my god look what Tony has it is the Base Set pre-release Raichu. How much do you want for it Tony? $1,000? So everyone is different. That is the whole point of why I am saying this.

Errors do not = slight color variations....

Well it is a kind of error. It is a printing error. Then there are ink errors and Miscut errors. Miscut's are very minor but they are still noticable to people like me. There are a lot of different errors but still. :)

Sorry if I am getting a little of topic.

I don't know where you are getting your info, but I gotta pick you up on some of this.

No-one knows how many copies exactly of the Prerelease Raichu exist.

It certainly wasn't a case of release a few and Pokémon hold onto some. They were given to higher ups at WotC, some of which decided to sell.

It's only known sales have been around the $10,000 mark, not $24,000.

I'd be dubious about someone claiming they owned it until I saw proof. I also don't believe that anyone who had one would carry it around showing it to people.

Back on topic, I agree with PokePop that most people would not be interested in this in the slightest. I do find it interesting to note as a collector, but this isn't a remarkable error really.

But Wayne, now it's time to start checking reverse holos =P

Miscuts also can be noticed by plenty of people. Printing errors such as this are so minute, they will not be worth more.
