Level X and Type changes

When you level up to a different type do you become dual type or the type of the level X?

Torterra: fighting->grass
Infernape: fighting ->fire
Empoleon: Steel -> Water
Heatran: Steel -> fire

I assume only the level up type but wanted to be sure.

When you level up a pokemon you may still use any pokepowers / bodies / attacks from the normal stage card leveled up from, but use the level X's weakness.
