Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Library of Competitive Decks: DP-UL *Updated with new sets and set abbreviation key!*

Omg! You Forgot The Beatles! That Deck Is Killer!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'd prefer that you didn't spam up the thread with these kind of comments. If you think a deck is good enough to be considered competitive, please post the deck name and why you think it should be added. If you are just trying to make a spammy joke, please think before you post.

I think that in the HS update Charizard and Jumpluff definitely deserve a nod, if anything.

Following decks are being included in HGSS update:

-Donphan variants
-Charizard
-Jumpluff
-Plox (sorry, still needs to be added)

Thoughts?

All sounds good. Especially interested to see what is considered "standard" for charizard, I've actully seen quite a few successful variants of him locally. HGSS update coming within next week or two hopefully??? (it has been a couple months)

Wow, sorry guys, once again I've let this thread die :/

I'm going to do some work on it over the weekend. Any crit about what should be removed/added would be very helpful.

Thanks again guys,

UPDATE: Okay, I've finished re-doing the SP section. Wish me luck for the rest of it :)

...and it's UP!

Any constructive crit is welcome guys!

A good read, I enjoyed reading it and learned a bit, too!

However, I expect you'll get some disagreement on the tiers, for sure. I, specifically, feel like Donphan is closer to T1 than T2.

Thanks very much :)

I don't feel that Donphan is T1. While Phan with Lux is a good deck, it's nowhere near the standard of LuxChomp or JumpLux or Gyarados. It has around 50/50 with LuxChomp, LuxChomp can grab a 2HKO on a Phan via Toxic Fang then Dragon Rush, plus general LuxChomp stuff about killing and spraying set up applies. It obviously also has problems vs. Jumpluff (3HKO or 2HKO with a Crobat drop) and has obvious problems vs. Gyara (weakness). It also has problems vs. CurseGar if they can get set up - Mime and Gar SF walling can be a problem even with Lux.

EDIT: Realise I forgot Sabelock in the tier list.

back we go...

What happened to Charizard and the others???

Charizard just got a lot more viable considering it still has it's draw engine....

Jumpluff's been added, I'll add Plox and Donphan when I have the time (I've been busy focusing on nats recently), and Charizard isn't really that much of a viable deck - how many Nationals/States/Regionals have you seen it top cutting in?

I might be a bit busy with school this week, but I should probably have an update finished within the next two weeks if that's okay.
