Ok, so im pretty new to Pokemon TCG, im a Naruto TCG, Bandai Dragonball TCG, and Yu-Gi-Oh TCG player. So pokemon is a different game for me. But, once i saw my friends Luxray GLs, i had to start playing. (Luxray is my Favorite Pokemon, and Being a Basic is awesome, Plus Volkner looks like the Fourth Hokage, and he is the lightning gym leader like The Fourth is lightning in Naruto.) Well, anyway, here is my Luxray/Infernape deck........

Pokemon x19:
x3 Infernape [4]
x1 Infernape [4] Lv. X
x2 Luxray GL
x1 Luxray GL Lv. X
x1 Lucario GL
x1 Honchkrow G
x1 Skunktank G
x1 Toxicroak G
x2 Crobat G
x1 Unonwn G
x2 Baltoy (GE)
x2 Claydol (GE)
x1 Uxie

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums x28:
x1 Aaron's Collection
x1 Bebe's Search
x3 Roseanne's Research
x4 Cyrus's Conspiracy
x4 Team Galactic's Invention G-101 Energy Gain
x3 Team Galactic's Invention G-103 Power Spray
x4 Team Galactic's Invention G-105 Poké Turn
x2 Team Galactic's Invention G-109 SP Radar
x1 Night Maintenance
x1 Warp Point
x1 Premier Ball
x1 Luxury Ball
x2 Galactic HQ

Energy's x13:
x6 Fire Energy
x3 Lightning Energy
x4 SP Energy

Ok, so the idea for this deck to work is to hit with Infernape for a bit, then KO with Luxray...It also has the Toxitank in it, as well as Claydols and Uxie for Draw Power.....Honckrow is in here for early game to help me get trainers when i dont have Claydol yet...

also, i want to add Azelf too (once i get one) but not sure waht to take out for it....

I like the idea
but if someone uses Mewtwo LV X, there is no way you could damage it.

You may need some kind of counter. A Dialga G lv X or evolved psychic pokemon that does 60 damage would work.

Bronzong from Majestic dawn - has a :psychic::colorless:colorless attack that does 60
a no energy attack that puts one damage counter on all of your opponents already damaged pokemon
and a pokebody that is, if bronzong is active, place 1 damage counter on each of your opponents benched pokemon in between turns.

Ninetails MT is a decent Mewtwo counter (and also OHKOs Flygon with Lucario GL on the bench).

-1 Honchkrow
-1 Raichu
+1-1 Ninetails

I would also drop the Switch for a Night Maintenance so you can get discarded Energy back. Most of your Pokemon have free retreat anyway.

Take out 1x lucario gl (you don't need it!!) and add 1 more uxie (2 uxies are at least required if you are not playing claydols in your deck ^^). Very good decklist for starter :)

yeah, i was thinking about the Lucario thing, but the Honchkrow, Raichu thing, no thanks. They are backup attackers, and for Mewtwo, i will fit Dialga G in later. But My area has no Mewtwos in it yet. But once it does start using him, i will have the counter. (Also, since i can't get a Second Uxie, what would be a good choice?)

Dialga G Lv.X is not a evolved.... good deck btw

ok, i changed it soome, but have not put a couter to Mewtwo yet, because it is not played in my area yet. But once the dumb people relieze he is good, then i will counter him. Also, with this deck, im going for some spread, then drag out their claydol, and attack their benh with Honchkrow and Infernape.

When Bronzong is your active pokemon put one damage counter on each of your opponent's pokemon that has a poke-POWER in between turns.

To get around mewtwo, all you have to do is use infernape's power to switch it every turn. Unless they have two. then its just game over.

I personally dont like the Riachu GL in ehre I knwo your thoughts its just not that good IMHO. I would try to get a claydol GE line in there for consistancy. Also there are a few more minor changes I owuld like to make but its more a trial and error for yoru area. Since they dotn run Mewtwo Dialga G is not needed but he is still useful. I would also change your energy to possibly 4 fire 2 lihting 3 SP and 3 Call energy for a poor start. I would also run two Warp points instead of a switch. three cyrus would do fine as well. I would also possibly add another aarons or jsut keep it its your call. Also ytou need at least 1 more unown G and another Uxie as well as a seconded toxicroak. And emove Honchcrow they are not needed IMHO, I feel like it clutters a tad in y experience not been needed.

Other than that this is a very good deck for a first shot I started with speedchamp because it was cheap at thetime lol. If yo need anymore help let me know. I will warn you this deck is a very diffrent deck and needs to be played very carfully because it is very finicy. ( pardon spelling I cant and dont try anymore). I would still add in dialga G for support and his first attack si beast turn one.

i see where you are getting at. Im trading for a Claydol line as we speak, also, getting the Second Uxie, isn't going to work, lol. But i Still like how Honch can hit a Benched for 40, after you drop a Crobat. Also, Raichu is Free Spread. What i was thinking of doing is dropping 1 Krow and 1 Raichu for a 1-1 Claydol line. As for the Trainers and Supporters, 1 warp and 1 switch are fine. cause i have PokeTurns for my pokemon, and Infernape for theirs. also, i don't like Call energy. And, I don't know, Bronzong, just doesn't seem to have a use, was thinking of dropping him for the second Croak.

Bahahahah I went to a Battle Roads and made a man who was playing an IMMACULATE SP deck have seizures when I sent my Mewtwo Lv. X out. The Mewtwo threat is no joke, heed our advice. Trust me, I've played against Infernape SP decks, and all I do in response to them is not lay down a bench. Why would I need one any way if my opponent can't even attack my active? Plus I level up from MD Mewtwo so I can just recover every three turns if something else somehow damages me, like Gallade SP X. If you can do go without the Claydol, more power to you. I strongly encourage people to rely on their minds when it comes to making a deck run, as opposed to a Poke'mon that's never going to attack and is in every single deck constructed within the last 2 years. Once you get your Dialga G X you'll be in business. Also, if you're going to run Infernape GL X, you should probably run Heatran X so that you may Intimidating Roar, and then Fire Spin EVERY TURN!!
-Good luck with every thing.

umm, k...........i know about dialga, but if you read a few post up, i think i said there are no mewtwos here. Also, Heatran has no room in here. and what are you talking about with Claydol? are you saying add or dont add?
