 Ya figured that one out also. It took off two of mine and the third one is screwed up and will not let me edit at all.

I lost two of mine, but they are back with the correct information so maybe it takes the system a little bit to update itself before it puts it back on. Chech you CC and see if it is back on the list also.

One thing I noticed was a number of the tournaments, including mine, were sanctioned as Limited inshead of Modified. I was able to change that, as well as an incorrect time, and the link from the PUI web page remained. I didn't change any details however, and I resisted the urge to put a title on the tournament. It does seem like you can edit the basic data and have the link remain, but that's about all.

Re

With everyday that goes by, it looks more and more like the VIP packages are BYES at the State Champ and that the State Championship gives away trips and invites to Nationals/Worlds. Anyway i am excited about this! FINALLY a constructed tournament tour, now we can really see what the best decks are.

Hey

I know your not really supposed to post back to back but i just read on their website (OP pokemon) that the winner of each city championship recieves a FIRST ROUND BYE AT THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. Hmm i guess i was right.

Wasn't Nationals going to be open to anyone anyways? And Worlds was the invite only tourney? If that is so is there really a higher prize for winning state? Maybe a VIP package at Nationals.

Re

I sure hope that you are wrong Jermy. If it is just invitations they give out, i agree with what someone said about the game being dead in the water. Ohio is pretty far from ANYONE on the west coast, not to mention getting a hotel and getting into Origins is a COMPLETE joke. If they are going to do Nationals and Worlds in the East, then they should give trips and then it should be the same for next year, but instead of Natl's and Worlds in the east, they are in the west.

Im sure that there will be more then just byes for the reason that they have said they will ship the VIP packages. :p

State Championships - April 2004
Each State will have a State Championship Event this April. The first place winner of each age division will win an invitation to Pokemon US Nationals at the Origins Convention. This is also where you can pick up your VIP package if you placed first in one of your state's City Championships.

So that means just invitations for winning states, not free trips.
I wouldn't go that far. We still don't know what's in the VIP package. Also, none of the Prize Structure (along with where and when these events are going to take place - outside of the generalized "April") has been announced, outside of the invite. Maybe there's a VIP Package there as well. Until it's announced, it's all blind speculation.

We have heard some info that there will be trips awarded at some of the events. And I think people will be happy with what will be awarded.

Just remember, PUI is running a ton of tournaments this year. City, State, & National, as well as Challenges and Stadiums and Worlds.

You can't expect trips to be connected to ALL of those various things.

Hmm, I'm not used to having my authority questioned! LOL (oops, I have no authority here...)

Forgot for a moment, I'm a new TO.

That's okay, yoshi, you're forgiven.

So, do you know if that is the last of them...i.e. is that all the approvals from the applicationcs received under extension to the 15th?
