they`re trading pokemon for guns something telling me this isn`t really I can`t rember guns every showing up in pokemon ever except legend of dratini

Any one would be a fool (imo) to trade in a Mewtwo for a gun. Seriously.
 
This is a fake but it would be awesome. Yeah DBZ was bad but think about this. The whole pokemon world should atually be nothing like the anime/vg but way more like in this fake trailer, a pretty dark and violent world, I mean you have MONSTERS everywhere, some have psychic abilitys and can mind control you, you have pokemon bombs etc, you have villains who send 2m poison snakes after you, you have stuff like scyther... The only part where the VG were a bit like this was the mewtwo story.
Just check out the pokemon special manga, its not that bad but it tends to be a bit more violent and less carebear lol.
And honestly, a well done movie about a "realistic" pokemon world would actually be really interesting and Id love to see it, still it probably would be a bad idea marketing vise.

e:/ Think about digimon as an example, yeah it tends to be very cheesy and "if we believe in it we can do it" but theres also a lot of psychological stuff going on, some rather violent scenes and some really dark stuff (think about ken season2). But the digimon anime is miles above the pokemon anime because you have real villains, atmosphere, A PLOT and tension.
Getting to far ot but a rl film based on pkmn special would be awesome lol
 
Its hard to tell exactly what this is without seeing the full length. Remember, this is just the last 40 seconds of the supposedly 3-minute long trailer.

It could be one of many things:

a) An independent or film student project.

b) A legitimate trailer of a film studio taking liberties with an established work (just like practically every other movie based on a videogame, comic book, or anime).

c) An elaborate hoax.

Even if it looks crappy, I do have to give kudos if this is legit. I mean, guys like me grew up with the kid-friendly Pokemon, but Pokemon didn't grow up with us. I for one have always questioned why nobody ever made a more teen-friendly or adult-friendly version of the series. Maybe this is what we've all been waiting for.
 
I hope this is a fake. I don't want to see Pokemon in live action. It will most likely be terrible plot wise anyways and if DBZ was any indication then I really think this shouldn't ever be produced if it is actually in fact real. If its fake it'll be a good joke like that video about asking people about pokemon in politics.
 
Where did you see it's fake? I'm sure it is, but I would like to know where it was announced that it's fake.

I would like to see pokemon in live action, but it would HAVE to be done on something of the scale of transformers, or Avatar(the good one, not the air bender thing). That would be sooo awesome.
