LOL, it's so funny how everyone was "Juniors and Seniors don't count" in the beginning. And now Europe wins Masters, and they're not as important as the US Seniors cos they won as well? :p

Anyhow, congrats to ALL finalists! World Champions from 3 different continents, how amazing is that!

I think this worlds show that the new ranking system is working. I mean US players can win by sheer probability, there are so many of them. WIth even playing field, it was a good showing from all regions of the world, awesome stuff

hey Flaming_Spinach plz s**t up eropean player is god as many other player, we just don't get that many players to worlds becouse us only think on them self:mad:

He said some other players might think that. He wasn't saying that he
thinks that. So don't accuse him like that. I think he thinks country
doesn't determine who's the best player. It's the Player's Skill no matter
from where there from.

There is. Miska Saari and Tom Roos are from the same league and now they have 2 World Champions and one 6th place... So they're pretty close.
 
Congrats to everyone who played, it was so tough (especially in the US) to even qualify.

JEREMY WON WORLDS IM SO PROUD AND HAPPY!
I LOVE BOBBY MALEC AS WELL.
Also, Garret won Nats before his amazing top 16 showing at Worlds. I am honored to have slept on this kid's floor. An amazing group of Seniors!

Props to the Americans in the Masters division!!

Well you can't say that Absolutions is an American creation, because Jolteon ex/Absol ex is so obvious combo. It's like MetaNite. But I understand your point though, because I rarely see top decks from European Tournaments in this site ;)
 
USA's flygon EX decks use Delcatty.

winner used magcargo and nidoqueen.
Flygon EX LM combos with... himself and boost.

How can that be a Usa deck?

P.S. Europe STILL doesn't have DP1.....

Also, I believe it was states, could of been regionals. forget. that this deck rose. But wasn't played due to Metanite, and Metagross/Steelix Varients.

I'm not saying its an American Creation. Its just a 1+1=2 Combo just like anything else. Catty makes "sense" as well as queen.

What? Sorry, but if you say Delcatty=Nidoqueen you don't understand anything about the deck.

Nidoqueen + PlusPower + Boost is a perfect counter against "30 and prevent from ex" pokemon.
How do you beat a Latios Ex in a FlygonCatty? 2 Energies to Vibrava? for not KOing it yet? 3 turns for a Latios Ex?

And what about if Rayquaza d ex + Cursed kill your bench in 1 hit? (1 hit for Delcatty, 1 or 2 hit for Catty ex). ? You want to give out so many prizes?

Delcatty has the advantage of make the deck more consistant and to have another occasional hitter.
But it was not the choice for Worlds, if you see the metagame.


So, Nidoqueen and Delcatty are the same? They have the same "sense"? A deck hasn't to make "sense" to be a strong deck. A deck has to be studied for the metagame and sometimes there are choice who make the differences (who ever said Mynx = JynxFett?). If Steffen understand this thing and arrive 2nd, props to Steffen (and to the European players who were playing that deck).

LOL!! That is SOOOO NOT true!!
I'm pretty sure Steffen created the deck ALL by himself. (+ dad though)
Steffen have had this deck in his deckbox all season. He won our Nats with it, which was in MAY afai remember.
Don't come here and say it is an american creation, because it is NOT!

You just have sour grapes about US not going to the top this year.. -_-

EDIT: He even won Nats LAST year with a version of it.
