Remind me, why was DRE put back in the deck? Wasn't there a whole debate about it being needed or not in the first few pages, and it was determined to not be needed?

x1 Pidgeotto [RG]
x2 Pidgeot [RG]
x4 Jirachi [DX]
x1 Gengar ex

Trainers <25>
x4 Giant Stump
x4 Rare Candy
x3 Celio's Network
x3 Curse Powder
x2 Ancient Technical Machine [Rock]
x2 Holon Transciever
x2 Holon Mentor
x1 Holon Scientist
x2 Rocket's Admin
x1 Pokemon Retriever
x1 Protective Orb

Energies <14>
x5 Psychic Energy
x4 React Energy
x3 Double Rainbow Energy
x2 Heal Energy

What do you guys think? Should I have Plusle or Jirachi?

This deck list looked really good to me until I saw that you only have 3 draw cards. I know it can be a possible 5 with the transcievers, but holon scientist is not going to get the job done.
I know that Pidgeot will search out cards, but it you go against Battle Frontier or LunaRock it could be trouble.

It's just great in this deck because The Dusclops takes away the weakness and turn 2 a damge shoot of 90 is also great for tweo energy's

actually dusclops ex isnt that good. It has to sit on your bench ( Open To Drag-Off) and even though you use it as a back-up how would u retreat it has two retreat cost....165 posts!!!!

I've tested a ton. Plosle is not better. Actually, playing no starter works better. Its hard to believe, but its true. Just playing 2 Holon Mentor and 4 Holon Tranciever is better.

Ok, I was wrong, Jirachi is way better then no starter. I played at MD states and got 13th place out of 40 in 15+ using the deck list I posted calling Gengar, the detailed version. But it wasn't the decks fault that I got 13th place. I made a huge miss play that made me lose and I ended with a 4-2 record and got kicked out tof the top 8 through bad resistance.

Even so, it can be useful in a few situations, but it really boils down to DRE + React = Fully powered up Gengar for whatever reason.

50 damage before including weakness? Why not
4-counter Cursed Reaction? sure

Surprisngly, Gengar ex makes this a nice list to some degree. With that said, tech a Surprsie! Time Machine (maybe take out a Psychic or that Protective Orb)

In the meantime, I'll think of things to tech into this deck for the next format
