That pig is gonna see massive play. Maybe the new Zard variant? Just run it pure setup with Ninetales and Typhlosion? I'm not sure how this would work, but I'm seeing some interesting possibilities with a Fire type Raindance combined with Firestarters...

Fire Pig's last form better have some form of appeal better than Gator Prime if it wants to be viable.

I still think Chillachino, Zoroark, and Jalorda have better appeal than that atm.

Enbuoh – Fire – HP150
Stage 2 Evolution – Evolves from Chaobuu

Ability: Fervor Dance
Choose 1 Fire Energy card from your hand and attach it to one of your Pokemon. You can use this ability any number of times during your turn.

[R][R][C][C] Heat Stamp: 80 damage.

Weakness: Water (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4
10/53B

;) nice one

Let me point something out. Anyone seen the Magmortar from Triumphant? If not, allow me to give a refresh.

Imagine these two together, shall we? Definitely 4 fisherman also. Think about it. Playing a fisherman per turn, even if you get 4 tails in a row, that's still 16 cards out of the deck. Not to mention regular attachments, Energy Restore, etc.

I'm thinking I've found my deck for after rotation to HGSS, no?

Energy Returner (or whatever that Trainer is that puts 4 energy back into the deck) would also help that thing. It'd be very interesting, that's for sure.

I was hoping that those trio of monkeys would work together like Wormadam and Mothim, but alas, there's no teamwork here...

Awww man...
I don't know what to say about that commercial. XD
The guy is pretty good though.
Also, art will/should change when it hits stateside.

OMIGAWD THEY ARE USING NEW ARTSTYLES THAT I DONT LIKE OMG OMG THEY MUST CHANGE IT BECAUSE IT IS TEH SUXXORZ CUS ITS NOT WHAT IM USED TO OOOOMG

...

I for one love the art. Not too hot on that on Jalorda but eh, we've had worse art in the past. Bsides, we dont play the cards for the art do we? Else nobody would play Claydol...

Claydol looked amazing. Just Sayin'

But does anyone else think we'll see less powers/bodies and instead have the game rely A LOT more on trainers/supporters?

I mean, those cards in hgss-triumphant that previously *sucked* in this format, will probably see a lot of play for their power/body to AID attackers. Instead of them being the attackers (Well, besides machamp prime hes just going to unleash)

I see what you did there, but wouldn't have been better to say that he will triumph?. As to the card themselves, I can see some good pokemon too. Ultra Awesome Rain Dance for Fire could be good, I mean Reshiram and Energy Retrieval makes 120 constant every turn.

My Blaziken deck 120 constant every turn as well, without needing trainers. Where's the problem? The only thing to fear is Pokémon Catcher / Gust of Wind reloaded.

Problem being that Blaziken is a stage 2 and only hits 100 without any outside influences/coin flips? Whereas Reshiram is a basic with 130 HP and a Rage attack to boot?

Blaziken needed Heatran, Reshiram needs the firestarter and constant support with Energy Retrieval, at least in the strategy described by magneto1992. The only thing I see that's better with Reshiram is the easier recovery.

Hang on here.

Blaziken requires:
1 Stage 2
1 Basic X with 4 retreat

Reshiram requires:
1 Stage 2 (Who has an alternate form that can slap for 150, just sayin)
1 Basic
1 Trainer/Supporter or some drawpower to dig into the energies (And hey, its Fire, so Ninetales ahoy)

I don't know, the simple fact that you need Heatran X (Who coincidentally has less HP then Reshiram and Boarbeque, while Blaziken is beat by Boarbeque as well) makes Blaziken a bit more clunky IMO. Especially with Gust V2 looming at the horizon. Boarbeque can at least defend himself, Heatran...eh, not so much.

I do remember losing to that Blazitran tho, but that was with PoryZ who really hated anything that could do 120 at that time...
