I was right in 2002 when I said the next Worlds would be in Orlando.

I will be right again in 2004 when I say that the next Worlds will be in San Diego.

if it went on registered players, I'd have to say it would be in florida next year and prolly the year after

Then that's how it should be. (And no, I don't live in Florida, I live in Virginia.)

Reward the city with the most registered players each year by having Worlds in that city, wherever that may be.

Well I'm sure there will always be more players per capita in the cities in Japan, so that would put it in Japan all the time.

Worlds should be in San Diego. It would benefit the West Coast people and would be a shorter trip for the Japanese.

But then again, for me, it would be a plane ticket for only 100 miles. -_- Who wants to travel on a plane for only 100 miles? Driving there is much more funner. :)

So yeah, Nintendo loves me so much they will make it in San Diego or Los Angeles. I will blackmail them into it. :) Fufufufufufufufufufufufufu!!!

You know Anaconda I don't even seem to be able to find any Pokemon players listed on Pokemontcg.com that are from Japan, nor any on the top 16 lists.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Advisor: Japanese players are found on the Japanese website. Pokemon-TCG.com services all other countries participating in organized play.

From what I've heard, Walt Disney World and more importantly the Orlando area offers Pokemon Organized Play the best options for sanctioning and holding a large scale event. WDW offers endless options of activities, hotels, resturants, and shopping, that's excluding the multitude of places outside Disney property like the Universal Orlando Resort and International Drive.

I'd imagine, like someone mentioned above, contracts were signed to ensure availability for future Worlds. I'm assuming that Worlds will remain in Orlando until that contract is finished or a better deal is found elsewhere. That or if Japan offers to host it one year.

Using Phil's above logic, they could hold it one year at Disney World, the next at Disney Land and swap back and forth. This would move us from East to West Coast every year. Then you always have a great place to visit and have things to do outside of Pokemon.

If they do keep holding it at Disney, wonder if Mickey would become an "unofficial" Pokemon???

So how does this fit in with the top 16 lists? Are the Japanese players not included?

Much like Stafford Virginia.

Ok, maybe not exactly like Stafford Virginia. Though I did once see a large mouse outside one of the Stafford area restaurants...
