Just to state a fact in here (not trying to push buttons), but the 1st place Torterra in Germany alex is referring to was a deck by -yoshi, is likely not the same Torterra that you guys are thinking of that did extremely well in the States. I did run this deck one time at a Battle Roads and did pretty exceptional with it, but it wasn't really viable enough in our difficult american metagame.

Top 32/3rd place Torterra was a deck that was around during US Nationals 07-08 played by Colin Moll and was amazingly rogue at the time, enough to keep a metagame slot for a few months.

This past year when said Torterra deck won Germany Nationals, There were only TWO Torterra decks in US Top 128. Neither of them were top seeded, nor did they make it out of the first round.

Proof. http://x.warnabrother.net/tc/tc.html. He might be trolling, but he has a point.

I'm sure that Europe and US metas are different, just like they can also vary from State to State or City to City. What I don't agree with is the lazy, borderline bigotry that just dismisses any deck that is successful in Europe with 'lol Torterra won Europe Nats' . . . like that is the clinching argument.

The 'Torterra' deck (actually Flygon/Torterra) made Top 32 at Worlds. True, it hasn't been meta since, but there has been a rotation that hurt decks running 2 Stage 2s (no Claydol - the deck ran 3-3) and the Torterra X went out. Neither of those things happened to hurt the 2008 Torterra deck. So the comparison doesn't really stand up.

Also, German Nats is not 'Europe Nats'. That's like me looking at what won in Canada or Mexico and saying it won 'North America'. Outside of Germany, it was pretty much a Luxchomp sweep IIRC.

I think Alex2K is a pretty cool guy. eh posts faek lists and doesnt afraid of anything

there are some really good seniors, some really bad seniors, and some seniors that are just terribad.

What about incredibad........... lonely island anyone?

Btw, what's this thread about again? Oh yeah...... Lostgar Hype. As for the plum version, I think it has some potential. The only thing is, I don't think it's right for the format right now. If your opponent can bench a dialga x, yer pretty much done for. You're deck is reduced to a really inefficient lostgar.

Hahahahah Kayle is so bad at this game. Vileplume in LOSTGAR? aRE YOU on drugs? Works kinda like this bby boy.

4-3-2-2 Gengar X (weird but soo effective vs dgx)
1-0-1 Champ (Bye bye dgx :p)
1-1 Garchomp c x (not only does it setup cursed drop KOs, but also great for taking something out that dares to build vs you)
1 Mime jr (random zones are like <3)
1 Mr Mime (Looking for zoning)
4 Smeargle (duh)

Just the pokemon line. Figure the rest out. There is ssu, judge, disruption. DCE as well.

I am assuming that u run the machamp lin to take out a deafening dialga. Juust so u know, youll have to get out your machamp b4 they start deafening, bbecause deafen stops rare candy. I actually run a 1-1-1 line lol
