Props
-Tara, for good TO skillz
-Mike and Ryan for having the confidence and knowledge to judge well
-Most diverse metagame ever. Yes, more diverse than HL-on Modified.
-Having +3 World Championship participants among us
-Players we've never seen before in the top cut
Slops
-In the Masters, there were 23 players and 6 of them were 4-1 (no one dropped). 4 of those players made it to top cut; two of them did not. Imagine, having to go undefeated to secure a chance at first place. Just goes to show the absurdity of single elimination. Also goes to show that POP's justification for not allowing premiere events to exceed the minimum number of rounds of swiss (Because there may be no undefeated players at the end of the last round) is silly, because tournaments will end up without an undefeated player anyway
-If you really want a player to lose, don't be noisy about it.
