thaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks. -.- i didn't get the best start either if you'd look at my slops. i did in fact get one of the better ones against him though. two dratinis! oh yeah!

EDIT: oh wait.. or was that the chikorita start?

I didn't get a good start for the first 3 rounds of the tourament. I still managed to go 2-1. Then I beat Pablo and Nick. T3 Flygon ex (he is going to get REALLY tired of hearing that) FYI I am not philip.
 
congratulations to Jonathan for his second br win :D
My deck wasnt able to survive once again with all those latios d out there :3
 
merman you forgot to mention salamence DF. Amazing what 2 pokemon can do to your deck. Are you still going to use it?

Ah yes that salamence also poses a huge threat but its the latios that mainly slows me down for i have to set up a vaporeon to counter it. And the thing about latios is that so many people run it as a tech. I wasnt running my smeargel tech that day =/

I agree completely. I would have met the same fate as i did with your brother. First of all your latios was prized and you drew 0 energy for several turns. On the other hand t2 k9 plus the right combo of eevee's got me 4 prizes in two turns i think. You also had the disadvantage of going first with 0 energy for the castform. But you beat me later easily even with your latios prized again. Those salamence decks of yours tough.

The t2 K9 hurt, and you managed to pick off my shelgon before I could evolve it on my next turn, stupid espeon ex... it Ko'd my shelgon with it's stupid power. I wish I could have switched the 2 battles around, and have lost to you AFTER the tourny. Oh well, thats just how it goes.
I don't know if you knew this, but did you know that before you I had to play Mike Mattingly, AND Jonathan Anderson one after the other, just goes to show what rotten luck I had the whol tourny.

We had a blast and thanks to Tara and Mike for taking such great care of us and making us feel so welcome like always!!! Great job to Ryan for judging. HUGE props to Tara for running a great event!!! We can't wait to come back. Good luck with the rest of the BR's.

Also big props to Mike for coming in second with a deck I would have never guessed...He played it masterfully all day!!!
