Now with Catcher upcoming (yes I know it's 2 sets away), what price do you think Luxray will drop to? I have 1 and don't know if I should trade or keep it. Probably keep though.

if there is no format change, luxray will probably drop to 50$.
If there is a format change then it will drop to about 30$
Truthfully, i don't expect catcher to make that big of an impact, considering we already have a trainer that does the same effect that isn't used a lot for its intended purpose.

 What trainer is that? I KNOW you're not talking about Reversal, because that depends on a coin flip.

What are you talking about? Catcher is much better than Blower incomparably.

i never said blower was better.
I said i don't think catcher is going to be used as much as everyone expects, i won't argue on it anymore.
On topic: Catcher will probably be 10$ at most.

I've been seeing some pretty good deck lists for either format making good use of Lux X and catchers. I think Lux X wont drop that much, maybe ten. It could even hike up, it's all dependent on when we get it and what's in the format, and right now it's too early.

As for Blower, it'll probably be a staple in any of the formats since most people have bench sitters like Vileplume and such that are such easy prey for it. That's my guess, so I'd say 5-7 for it and it would probably be reprinted in the theme decks for that set.

Me thinks that, if there is a format change it will be used in a lot of decks, but as many decks that have it people will put a vileplume in their deck not only to stop it but with SP being rotated decks will be more heavy in Trainers and Supportors. It will be kinda like the Meta until Rising Rivals hit the shelves and SP got bigger, back when Kingdra, Gengar, and Machamp ran rampant. If their isnt a rotation it wont be used as much due to the popularity of Dialga, and VileGar.

Umm, with Vileplume as a bench sitter, you won't be able to use Poke-blower+. But I understand what you're saying because there are many bench sitters but you can't use it when Vileplume is sitting.

I hope you are being sarcastic.

If you argue that way, a trainer (not supporter!) card that searches for any 2 cards any time of the game would not be broken for you because we already have Poké Drawer + which does the same.

...or a Potion that heals for 80.

Nothing from BW will be played at the same time as any SP, unless Pokemon wants to make a lot of people very angry.
Unless, of course, they take all the good cards that would impact the format out of the set and don't change the rules.
I hope that Pokemon justs waits and doesn't get a BW set until after worlds, then we start anew with the new, slower rules.
