Pokemon: 24
4-2-4 Machamp (3 SF/1 Prime)
4 Spiritomb AR
2-1 Luxray GL
1 Ditto LA
2 Crobat G
2-1 Uxie LA
1 Unown Q MD

T/S/S: 25
2 BTS
2 Cyrus's Conspiracy
2 Poke Turn
2 Rare Candy
1 Twins
1 Luxury Ball
2 Pokemon Collector
2 Looker's
2 PONT
2 Bebe's Search
1 Palmer's
2 Seeker
2 Warp Point
2 SSU

Energy :11
4 Fighting
3 DCE
1 Warp
3 Rainbow

Strategy: Start with Spiritomb if the Machamp donk isn't possible. Trainer lock until Champ is ready to go. Luxray X to bright look basics. DCE and Rainbow for Ditto and Luxray (Gengar and Gyarados counters). I like 2 Seeker to increase the T1 donk chances. Uxie X for the mirror. Mid to late game trainers for a quick Champ or Champ Prime.

Thanks.

Luxray isn't going to help you much when you need both DCE and Rainbow, neither of which are searchable, plus another energy in hand to KO. You just don't run enough energy for that, not to mention you are missing the Crobat and the Poke-Turn to get the KO on Belted G'dos. Also, Luxray X is kind of unhelpful, you would want to just run 3 Luxray GL.

edit: Oops, I didn't see the bats and turns in there. ^^"

Normally I would completely agree with you, but I'm not going to be attacking with Luxray much. However, Gyarados is going to see some serious play in my area and the matchup is very unfavorable without Luxray. If I see my opponent is playing Gyarados, my focus will totally change and I don't think it will be that hard to get what I need. We'll see. Thanks for the reply, though.

Also, LOL at Luxray X is unhelpful... I never thought I'd see those words on the Gym!

If you are really worried about Gyarados it is worth a try to play your Warp Points to get some Basics active and get a Machamp that can attack with Rage^^ That is the best way to get a win.
And Luxray w/o Lucario doesn't help you against Gyarados, because how do you want to OHKO it Lol?!
I would say try it with a list like this:

POKEMON (19)
4331 Machamp
1 Crobat G
31 Uxie
1 Unown Q
1 Ditto
1 Azelf

TRAINER (30)
4 Pokemon Collector
3 Bebe's Search
3 Pokemon Communication
1 Luxury Ball
4 Rare Candy
3 BTS
3 Warp Point
4 Poke Drawer+
2 PONT
1 Palmer's Contribution
1 VS Seeker
1 Expert Belt

ENERGY (11)
3 DCE
3 Rainbow
5 Fighting

Hope that helped you.^^

Yeah, this is a pretty solid list that would go 3-3 at our cities. Too much trainer lock and VileGar is rampant. Getting stuck with a handful of useless trainers is not fun. Sure, against an opponent playing a bad SP build or some rogue Stage 2 deck, this works great, but my Meta is filled with Sp, VileGar, Sablelock and Gyarados. Those are easily the top 4 decks I will see at Cities.

And I never said Luxray could OHKO Gyarados, just give me a bit of an edge to do some damage, that's all.

But your list is certainly very fast for a meta without much trainer lock.

I'd play thinking of a donk. Pokémon Reversal instead of LGL is way better. Spritomb AR slows you down, play more Candies and BTS instead.

Try to find Umbreon (UD) to help against trainer lock, usually players that play VileGar will struggle getting that umbreon away.

Yeah - but against Umbreon, they aren't taking a prize every turn while you struggle to knock it out.
