magi-nation was little known game, but it was well rounded and almost all of the cards had potential and it seemed like the creators were actualy trying on all the cards they made.you could open a booster pack (espescialy if you were a newbie or intermidiate) and all the cards could actualy fit into a deck.i remember being in tourny's and there were ton's of different decks.someitmes in the finals it seemed like everyone had their own deck type.the game was really interesting, but it suffered from technical problems from contradictions with cards (stuff like, which card overrules which?).my point, the game was good and deserved recognition and we could learn alot from the many attributes the different colors had and how well you could make a creative deck and do well with it.anyone know what i'm talking about?

MT Jimmer used to work on MagiNation, before he came over to PUI.
Also, The Compendium's founder, Kori, went over to M-N and did something similar there, even getting semi-official standing.
Hey Jimmer, how about something like that for TC? :D

Shteevie and I worked for Magi-Nation as well before coming to PUI. Just a bit of trivia for ya'll. :D

Yes, I loved that game as much as I liked pokemon at one time. I felt as though it had real potential had the company promoted it more. The GBC version of the card game was also as fun and is one of the most memorable games in my mind for the GBC.

I used to play, when Dragon Ball was in a long slump between Frieza and Trunks Saga. I played the water people.

i had just finished an all-hyren deck when they stopped holding tournys...:(.only got to play it in one like twice.

Magi-Nation! Man, I love that game!

I'm a member of the Core. All nice and evil. :) Although, I only have a starter and two or three packs... but it's still good!

Hoo... the one thing I don't like about the game is the time to play. When I play, it takes for-freakin-EVER.

But the system's nice...

Yeah, it didn't really pick up over here. I could never find the GB game, not even a booster! The most I ever saw was one guy's binder with some cards in em. The game looked pretty neat, i wish i could have gotten to play it. There were like 2 people in our entire school who played, but they seemed to make it look like fun. I do remember that the art was pretty solid, though. Why was YGO more successful? I guess the TV thing was like a half hour commercial for YGO, oh well.

man...i remember getting into some 3hour multiplayer matches...that was great.something ya can't do with pokemon.i saw an 8 person match once, man that was awesome.

I recieved the GB game as a gift one time a few years back and I never really got into it. I wanted to play the card game, but there was no tourneys around here for them, so I decided to not buy a starter kit.

ok this is too wierd... today me and my firend just bought a magi-nation starter for a buck... creepy, eh?
it is a pretty fun game, actully.
