Okay, I know that a lot of players who play pokemon have played this game. It was insanely fun and 2 of the current PUI team were employees and in charge of this game. (Mike L. and Jimmer S.)

As you all know the game was suspended to do bad managing of the game and we were all told that an animated TV show would come out and at that time the MND game would be rerelease -

Seems like that might be very very soon -

Official Press Release

Anyone's Thoughts??

Why is this important? I thought Magi-Nation died off many years ago? Why show the cartoon now?

Well that isnt exactly true. They were have "money" problems because they didnt produce enough cards and were running it poorly. They were hoping to release the TV Show quickly before they had to stop print cards for money concerns. They said they were temporarily suspending the game while the TV show was being produced and when it came out they would "Relaunch" the card game. So it was stop being made but they told us it would return. Seems like it is gonna be really soon, :thumb:

Well, let's hope they do relaunch the card game. I bought a starter deck when it came out and the game seemed fun. Seemed like of like DuelMasters but different in a way (can't remember, so long ago). I know I really liked the monsters.

Wow! This is cool news. The game was great! All the cards were playable as I remember, unlike Ariados from NG =/. Too bad the game and cards had SO many flaws that the game fell apart. Mono Hyren FTW!

I use to play test that game, have a few starter decks. It was a cool game and had purdy pitchurs. I'd like to see it relaunched, it had all those dragon type cads in it and the WEEBO!!

To bad thats oldddddd news =/ The TV show should be airing this year in the fall. The WB for everyone in the United States. CBC for everyone in Canada. Also there was a south Korean Station that picked up the TV show. The cardgame will be released shortly after the TV show hopefully. However the cardgame will most likley NOT be the same cardgame we once knew. In other words your cards from Bse Set - Voice of the storms will be useless unless you were to play the old cardgame. Much like What Score did for DBZ...

To be honest it wasnt the not enough cards that made the game "die off to an extent". Their playtesting sucked for this game even my friends admit that who WERE playtesters right up to traitors reach and daybreak.... The overproduction of Base Set cards made them lose money... Dreams end and nightmares dawn sets broke the game they should NOT have been made at all. The constant Eratta thanks to a select few people also hurt the game... My city is responsible for at least 15 cards on that Errata list lol. I just find that funny XD Cant forget Orlons ring the ultimate cheese that is =)

Those are just a few reasons why the game died off mostly everywhere except for Japan and a select few places in the United States.

I loved having inside info while 2ID was still around =)

If only the japanese could experience the brokeness that this game was =/

Hmm...so the TV show is finally getting released? I thought it'd died off...

Anyways, I loved Magi-Nation. The one video game for GBC (2 if you want to count that cell-phone one, and 3 if you want to count the Japanese release for the GBA) was very cool. I also still have all my old cards from Base Set onward. I seriously do hope Magi-Nation can live again; I always thought it was a pretty neat concept and ideas, with a decent story too,
