Here is another rough idea deck from Darkrai My Eyes!

:pokeball:Magmarkiss:pokeball:

Before I wade into any kind of detail, this deck was good. It was used by my League Leader to beat everybody yesterday, and works really, really well. If you can get set up quick, you're basically invincible. Here is the list.

4 Magmar SW
3 Magmortar SW
1 Magmortar LV.X MT
3 Togepi GE
1 Togetic GE
3 Togekiss GE
2 Baltoy GE
2 Claydol GE
1 Azelf LA

3 Roseanne's Research
3 Bebe's Search
2 Rare Candy
2 Premier Ball
2 Night Maintenance

28 Fire Energy

So there's the list. I'll go through the cards now.

Magmar Secret Wonders

He's the best Magmar yet. That's why I use him.

Magmortar Secret Wonders

He is this deck's star. If you set up quickly and good enough you can do some spreading, and when you get a Togekiss and use Serene Grace, you're set to cause some pain. Attach all Togekiss' Fire energy to Magmortar, and you'll have about eight energy on him now. With all that attached, Flame Body will fully heal him and he'll be able to strike for 160 damage with Flame Blast!

Magmortar LV.X Mysterious Treasures

For buffing up a Magmortar, and for extra Burn Damage.

Togepi GE

He's the only Togepi at the moment, which is why I use him.

Togetic GE

He's the only Togetic at the moment, which is why I use him.

Togekiss GE

Serene Grace is great; when you evolve a Togetic or Togepi with Rare Candy, you look at the top 10 cards of your deck and attach any energy you find there to any of your pokemon.

Baltoy GE

You know why he's here.

Claydol GE

Constant draw power every turn is amazing. A staple card.

Azelf LA

What if Magmortar LV.X is stuck in your prizes?! Call on Azelf to rescue him!

That just about wraps up this deck; very simple, but oh so effective!

I think 28 fire energy is a bit much, but thats just me. There's a very high chance of you not getting any basic pokemon in you're first draw. i would run a 3-2-3 of Togekiss If you want burn, then you should also think about a 2-1 or a 2-2 line of Heatran (Stormfront Lv X) His Pokebody makes you're opponent flip tales for burn. Then i would also run 4 Rosie, and possibly a Palmers. You should also think about the new Ninetales from HGSS it's a great draw power for fire decks (discard 1 fire draw three cards) Thats what i would do. I also don't like to be like OD on energy. This deck needs at MAX 12-15 energies. I would also add Bench Sheilds for the claydol, and the togekiss'. Just a thought since there is going to be a new Blastoise out that snipes for 100. My friend proxyed out the deck. And it's quite a horrible matchup for ANY fire deck. (combined with Floatsel GL Lv X and Great Feraligatr (floatsel lets water pokemon go back to you're hand when they are knocked out and Great Feraligatr has a pokepower that allows you to attach as many water evergies to a water pokemon per turn as you want) So thats what i would do.

It's good to have a lot of energies in this deck, but your amount is absurd.

-8 Fire Energies

+ Roseannes Reasearch 1
+ Bebe's Search 1
+ Cynthia's Feelings 2
+ Luxury Ball 1
+ Rare Candy 1
+ Spiritomb 2

You just need to add more supporters for consistency and trainers. 20 energies is probably as high as you should go. I would add Spiritomb to stall the opponent, you can level a Magmar or Togepi faster without worrying of wasting Rare Candy on the first couple of turns.

U only need 14-16 Fire. I played Skittles (Ho-Oh/Togekiss) a while back and I always regretted running anything over 18 or 19.
Togekiss IMO is underrated, glad to see someone using it.
I remember Pachi being really useful for Magmortar.

You need Spiritomb in this deck, so that SP can't Power Spray your Toegkiss! 2-3 should be good

Okay... Well I personally disagree with this because you need to set up as quickly as you can. It would stop your trainers, which are a huge component. I have a skittles deck I am testing again, as for I too ran it a couple of nationals ago. I run it more like a shuppet donk!:thumb:

While I see why you run so many Energies, I am pretty much going to second what everyone else has posted before me- 28 Energies is just way too many. I also think that you need to add in another Togetic or another Rare Candy. Also, BTS might not be too bad of an idea to get out a Togekiss quickly if you can't draw into a Rare Candy.

I played MagKiss for quite a few years, and never had to have Claydol and Azelf in favor of a stronger trainer/supporter line. I relied more on quick balls to prevent drawing my energy.

My lines looked more like:
3-3-1 Magmortar Lv X (mt Magmar)
3-1-2 Togekiss

3 rare candy
4 quick ball
3 roseannes
3 oak's visit
3 bebes
2 premier ball
3 night maintenance
2 switch

20 fire energy

I know I'm forgetting some cards, but it's been over a year since I wrote out that decklist. Sorry I can't remember any more. :<
I took it to a Battle Roads and took a second to EmpoCrystal, which took first place. Held my own for quite a while, too, so the Togekiss isn't just for show - I like that it can be a heavy hitter when it really needs to.

There is a problem with this. Magmortar only heals when an energy is attached from your hand to him. Serene Grace does not put energy into your hand first, thus no healing takes effect when energy is attached through Serene Grace.
