MagneBoar counters?

Any sure-fire counters for MagneBoar? I can't really think of any that totally wreck it just offhand....

You really just have to set up before it does. Sometimes it will go off T2 and there isn't really anything you can do vs it.

afaik, there isn't a "sure-fire" counter.

Fossil deck with Archeops, maybe Terrakion and Donphan in there for good times.

^ AFTER they come out those cards will do well to counter Magneboar, however for now you just need to outspeed it. Donphan is nice just because they need to LZ 4 energy to dispose of one, and Bouffalant works well with DCE against RDL

When you mean a counter, do you mean a deck to counter it or a tech to counter it?

You don't need a counter. You just need a deck that sets up consistently within the first 2-3 turns.
