You can just play Metal Energy in a normal way and Electivire can get the discarded Lightning and bring it onto Magnezone

4-2-2-2 Magnezone, 3-2-2 Electivire and 2-2 claydol, anyone? But it might be a bit slow but hmmmm
 
I hope there will be a good metal energy exaleration card coming out in the next set so then the normal magnezone will be good and the lv.x can be a tech.
 
If there is a metal energy accelerator, I am playing Steelix/Weavile/Moonlight Stadium. In fact, I might play it anyway. Steelix can one-shot Magmortar with Special Dark, and Weavile can one-shot Magmortar with two Special Dark (and mess up their massive Delcatty hand!) The only question is whether to get the free retreat with Magnezone or Moonlight Stadium.

Yeah, I'm really bad at predicting the playability of cards :lol:.

Anyway, it would work well with DRE as long as it doesn't get printed to say discard 1 :metal: Energy CARD and discard 1 :lightning Energy CARD.
 
No Raichu,Vire since u only need 3-3-1 Vire SW/Vire Lv.X and that works. Its a pretty good card I think that should have a 2-2 line of it and magnezone.If magmortar is still played,then this will get mauled tho.

P.S- Mewtwo Lv.X with the other Mewtwo that does Energy Asorbition is nice.
 
Magnezone Lv X in both its own deck and Electric decks with Electivire and whatever is going to be cool. The other DP5 cards are looking promissing as well, 8 Lv Xs total. Now of course, we'll probably get screwed and barely get 4, but that aside...
 
well,imo as long as multi is in the format this card will be playable.
but i will admit, x fire weakness does sicken me.
