hello people, as far as i know there is only a league this week but next sat 25th, it's the pre release at fanboy 3 manchester. xmx
 
The pre-release will be at a normal time, yeah? This might be the first weekend I don't have plans on a Saturday (until three o clock).

pre release is from 1pm onwards and will not be over any time before 3pm. league is in the morning, 10am onwards. best to get there a bit earlier than 1pm. just to get comfy, register etc.last pre release went on till about 6ish i think but don't quote me on that:redface:
 
No reason not to go for a few hours though get your cards and goodies and then drop if you have to go before the end

Remember pre-releases are FUN events that don't count for premier points - it's all about the cards and FUN :D

Okay, well, it turns out that the Man City match has been postponed, so I might hang around for the pre-release too, although I can't spend any money. I'll just take in the atmosphere, and hope to bump into a few of the Manc players I met at Nationals! :D
 
It was my first time there and I actually really enjoyed it! In a sort of selfish way I didn't want it to be as good as the times I've had at league in London, but it far excelled them, in terms of well, everything. I'm so glad I chose Manchester for uni. :D I've been stroking the Stormfront Charmeleon and Charizard ever since I got in. I still feel really stupid for the way I lost in the top cut though. :p Ah well, there's always next time.

Come next week, and bask in my full glow of my new Dusknoir deck, mwahahahahaha... etc...


Incidentally, if anyone has a Dusknoit LVL. X, I will trade nearly ANYTHING for it (including a Garchomp LVL X, a Mewtwo LVL X or even a Rhyperior LVL X).
 
I can't be there at the weekend as I'm going to the warmer climes of Stoke-on-Trent, but I'll definitely be along the next two Wednesdays.
 
NEXT Wednesday, would have quite liked to have played in the Half Term league :-(

Saying that, I have my badge, and I don't think we have anymore current cards?
But I would do all the old Pokemon challenges ;-)
