Marowak TM and Ruins of Alph

If Marowak TM used Bone Impact on a Pokemon that had Fighting Resistance, like Tornadus EP while Ruins of Alph was in play, would Resistance apply or not? I'm guessing that it would not apply, but I wanted to make sure.

The stadium would not get discarded until after the damage is done, so Resistance would not be applied.
