Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Marriage?

Woah.

Okay, firstly, I'm not big into personal attacks, and I'd appreciate it if we can operate with the same level of respect in our posts. I'm not trying to sound clever at all, I'm just saying how it is. Not all people who would benefit from same sex marriage are homosexuals. Transgendered people, bisexual people, etc. typically don't identify as ***.

I'm not sure if I follow you on the "affecting each other" line. What I meant was that this issue is more than just *** people marrying *** people. It's called same sex marriage because there's a lot of different groups of people who want to marry their same sex, but don't classify themselves as ***.

I'm kind of in a hurry, so I don't have any links handy, but I'm sure there are a great number of websites and such that you could read for more information about this. I wasn't trying to incite an argument, I was just throwing out something that I hadn't seen represented in this thread yet.

Anyway, I was hoping we could have a friendly discourse that didn't resort to taking shots at each other, but I guess that's not the case. All I've wanted to say has really been said. If you'd like to discuss this in a way that is comfortable for both of us, I'm all for it.

I completely disagree.

Bisexuals do not identify as homosexual, neither do a lot of transgendered people. I'm not really sure what you're getting at. Are you denying that these two groups exist? I think you're putting a blanket on a lot of different groups here, and that's pretty offensive, in my mind.

It doesn't matter whether they identify themselves as ***s. If they are in love and marry the same sex, they are ***.

If i don't identify myself as a Dane (I'm from Denmark), that doesn't mean I'm not a Dane, because I still am.

Why, though? What about bisexuals, transgendered people, etc? What if I'm a bisexual, and have feelings for both men and women, but end up spending my life with a man? What if I marry a man, and then later I marry a woman? Was I temporarily *** and then not? What if I marry a man, then a woman, then a man again? Am I bouncing in and out of a sexuality?

Also, as long as we're talking about identifying as something, if I am a transgendered man (born a woman, now a man), am I still a woman? If I identify dress and identify as a man, yet I am biologically a woman, would you still consider me a woman?

No, you are a bisexual. When you're bisexual, you're still ***.

You said they don't IDENTIFY as ***s, so actually, you are implying that they are ***s, but don't like being called it.

Well, at this point, I think we're just arguing about semantics. Being bisexual is most certainly not the same as being ***, but I think we've reached a sort of stalemate in our argument. I hope that as you explore this topic further you can at least begin (even if you don't agree with me in the end) to see where I'm coming from, and at least acknowledge how offensive you're being.

Anyway, have a good day, and good luck at Nationals if you're attending. I'm glad we were able to come back and have a somewhat civil conversation.

The fact that you're saying GL at Nats proves that you aren't reading what i'm writing. I just said I was from Denmark.

Anyways, if being *** means that you are attracted to the same sex ONLY, then I apologize, that is not the way I understand what being *** means.

I just saw this edit, and again, we're just arguing about semantics. We're not using "identify" in the same way, and as I said, we've kind of reached a stalemate.

A minor misstep among the handful of posts we've exchanged proves that I'm not reading what you're writing? I've been able to coherently respond and debate with every other topic you've brought up. I apologize for making a mistake whilst trying to be civil.

Anyway, I've said all I needed to say. Good luck at world's if you're attending, and have a good day/night.

I'm pretty sure "***" means you're just attracted to the same sex, not attracted to the same sex only.

I'm not sure or anything, but that's what I always thought it meant.

If you're bisexual, you could be considered half ***....

Nope, *** is same sex only.
Straight is opposite sex only.
Bisexual is both.

Going by the way you see it bisexuals could be classed at straight too.

kwisdumb, I don't think what you're bringing to the conversation is really necessary. Bisexual people are both *** and straight. Calling them one or the other is true but it still leaves out an important part. In this particular topic, however, I think "*** marriage" is just as good as saying "same sex marriage". If you're bi and in a relationship with someone of the same sex, that's still a homosexual relationship.

Being bisexual is most certainly not the same as being ***,

Hahaha people who say that are, uh, weird lol. Half *** doesn't exist lolz... if you are half *** you are 100% ***.

this is the religion that i've seen have a problem with this topic.
im not saying that everyone that christian beleaves this but i have talked to a prist about this and that was how he put it.

Uhhh hate to break it to you but every major religion does not accept homosexuality. Islam, Judaism, Christianity.
(By major I mean what the majority of the world follows/fits into.)
Maybe Christians just seem to be the most vocal about it? lol.

yes- still a woman. changing clothes and taking hormones doesn't make you a male. it just makes you a female that wishes she wasn't. you would still release oocytes and make milk when impregnated...
