Strategy:Get out Pidgeot A.S.A.P. and get a Dark Steelix powered up. Either use Energy Link or Super Connectivity to get energy back from the Discard Pile to power up the Dark Steelix. When on Steelix gets KO'ed all that energy is gone to the discard pile. So attach an energy from your hand to Dark Steelix(WARNING: DO NOT ATTACH RAINBOW UNLESS NEEDED!!!) or use Super Connectivity and get a rainbow energy back. Then, on the next turn, attach another energy from your hand to Dark Steelix. There you go a fully powered Dark Steelix in 2 turns. Dark Steelix is a tank. It can do alot of Damage and it can take in alot of Damage. When it takes in too much damage use Milotic to heal the Steelix.

Cards:

Dark Steelix 110 HP [D][M]
Evolves From Onix

[C][C] Energy Link 20 Search your discard pile for an energy card and attach it to Dark Steelix.
[F][C][C][C] Heavy Impact 60

R-G-30
RC-CCCC

Metagross 100 HP [P]
Evolves From Metang

Poke-Power Super Connectivity
Once During your turn (before your attack), you may search your discard pile for a [P] or [M] energy card and attach it to your aActive Pokemon. Then, put one damage counter on that Pokemon. This power can't be used if Metagross is affected by a Special Condition.

[P][C] Link Blast If Metagross and the Defending Pokemon have a different amount of Energy attached to them, this attack's base damage is 40 instead of 70.

Milotic 100 HP [W]

Poke-Power Healing Shower
Once during your turn, when you play Milotic from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokemon, you may remove all damage counters from all of your Pokemon and all of your opponent's Pokemon(excluding Pokemon-ex)

[W][C] Wave Splash 30

[W][W][C][C] Distorted Wave 80 Before doing damage, remove 3 damage counters from the Defending Pokemon (all if there is less than 3)

Match Ups:

Gengar: This should be an easy matchup. One because the weekness of Gengar is Darkness. Two becuase placing the damage counters on all of my pokemon won't help it if you can use Milotic right. All we need is a fully powered Steelix and you are done.

Metanite: This Matchup should be easy. But if it isn't it is because they didn't think wisely. proboly the least you can do in this match is 60 but that isn't to worry. IF you finally get that darn MEtagross with 4 Metal Energy out they can't get their Metal back. Therefore all you have to do is use Milotic once and it is game over.

SMP: This is proboly a hard matchup if they get the set up easily. Otherwise this shouldn't be a problem. Try not to turn on the body and don't let them get set up fast. This way you should win. This is proboly going to be a hard match and if I make it to World and go all the way to the finals play this deck and lose, sadly. But I don't think that fast so I can't get there until I start getting better.

LBS: This could be a hard match because of Steelix ex's attack which KO's anything in your deck except the Dark Steelix. Get Dark Steelix Powered and hope for the best. That will be a hard matchup.
30-70

Ok complicated, but enough for now. I played Matrix at Worlds 05 and it was an ok list I modified it so it was modified and now you can help me modify it some more. Please and Thank You!

-4 Dual Ball

+4 Celio's Network
+3 Great Ball

and voila, you've got a solid list!

Now some more things to consider:

-Protective Orb/Energy Root. If Ludicolo can't even knockout a Steelix with Magcargo, then that matchup looks in your favor.
-Thinning the Milotic line down to 1-1.
-Put in a another dre or a scramble?

We can work all of this out, and more, at league. I plan to show up early to test with Ryan, so if you also show early, I can give also give some added advice :D

Too bad Super Connectivity dont get Rainbow back....

Other than that the list looks good.

I would be worried about losing your darkness, even with reduction of 40 and with 110 hp, hitting for only 60 is horrible for 5 energy. Drop the dual balls, elms, swoop, and jirachi for 4 celios, 2 orb, and 3 energy charge. Rainbow is not needed, drop it for heal and psycics.

I can't be at league or anything... unless i can talk my dad into taking me... and kettler can I talk you in to bringing a metagross and some celio's that we could trade for...?
and the darks i can get back darkness w/ energy link

Why a 2-2 Milotic line? You need the Swoop to get an Onix or Pidgey start.

Yeah Chris has a point man. Here are my fixes...

- 1 Feebas
- 1 Milotic

+ 1 Swoop!
+ 1 ATM Rock

You'll do fine.:thumb:

wow wow folks ive had m butt handed to me many a-time this deck is PURRRRRRRRRFECT if you ask me all it needs is another molitic line and he is set with stuff like metanite out there your going to need all the molitic you can get because even with all 4 metals on steelix metagross can hand him alot of damage so thats what i think (im aloud to think koooooool) and if you dont like it o well

I think I might get one of one Milotic line. What I'll put in I'll find out. hitmonchan93 I don't need another swoop! only one is needed and that is for Jirachi to get an onix or Feebas and sometimes a pidgey if I get it real early with a rare candy and a pidgeot either in the 5 cards or in my hand.

Dragonman - 1) good choosing your name I would of recongnized you and I have a swoop and I will put the Milotic line to 1-1!

Dark Tyty... I don't need another Milotic line that would ruin everything in my deck...

thanks for the help and good bye

Oh  didn't see that:redface: . Replace that added Swoop! with another Admin.

ok it's alright, I don't really know about the admin you want to suprise them with it not admin them to death... 2 admins is enough but I wonder if we could fir in the other pidgeot so I don't have to use a bunch of Briney's Compassion for Milotic and I could use that to bring it up? I'm thinking it might work.

Opinions.

+3 Celio's
You're playing all non-ex pokemon.

-3 Steven's
+ TVR
Why not maximize energy on the D. Steelix, huh?

if swoop gets prized then I guess that I'm out of luck... 4-4 dark steelix would be too much. I'm going to use 4 celio's got threw that on the first post and I'll check TVR.

I say take out the Steven's for TVR as well.

You can discard Metal/Dark whatever it is that is in your hand, and get it back with Steelix's first attack.
