MD Regionals Report

Hey congratulations on the big win. I know everyone is saying this, but ITS ABOUT TIME! I was starting to think I was better then you at this game! Anyways it was obvious you were really upset about what happened. You were so depressing that Ryan and I were pretty mad when we got home. But I don't think you should be so hard on your self. So what if you unintentionally donked Jordan, You worked your way to that point of the tournament. I'm sure Jordan donked a few of his opponents to get to the finals. I was sure I would beat him round one and then my claydol ran into nothing for 10 turns and he beat me. It happens but you move on and enjoy what you have. At least you didn't go 6-1 and then get donked out of top 16 through time. You are the reason our name is TEAM EMO LEESBURGER! =P Just be happpy, we all love you and your face so s*ck it up man.

If you don't make it to worlds I'll beat you with a virtual stick. (Because I won't be able to beat you with a physical stick)

Tanner - Oh, the misfortunes of having a gender-ambiguous name. Jordan is 100% (perhaps more?) dude. If you make the trip to Nats I'll point him out to you.

Mr. T - It's us Northern Virginia guys who have the long trip to NC. You guys down in the Richmond-ish area are the lucky ones. =(

Robbie/Peter - Yeah... I mean, I knew what I had to do if I ran into them, but that Cess Crystal would be very helpful. Peter, they wouldn't play the white one until they were ready to turn him straight into the Stage 2 guy; since they set up with the other white guy, they don't have to play the little one a turn early.

Dan - Haha, thanks for cheering me up? Sorry if I made you and Ryan mad... It's easier to tell somebody that they should lighten up than for that person to actually go through with the lightening, though. I felt a lot better when I woke up today (I was still sulking on Sunday, though). Talk to you soon - we've gotta get the Origins badge thing worked out.

Gordon - Incentive to make a few hundred bucks magically appear in front of me? ;/ I would love to go to Worlds and meet all the non-USA players, and you're definitely #1 on that list. But if I had enough money to get down to FL I'd probably put most, if not all of it, away. Still, I'll see what I can do (and you definitely don't want to get into a virtual stick war with me, buddy).

Jeremy - Haha. Those Canadians. I guess we're both Regionals winners this season, so congrats to you, too. The kid can still play! We'll chill in Ohio.

Spencer, I could've won that second game and made it to top two but I just didn't want to play 3 possibly 4 more games... 14 hours of pokemon killed me plus i was sick on top of that. Oh well, ripping that scramble was pretty redic.

Yeah, I was wondering why you scooped. I was gonna put it on the flip, but you were definitely in it. And it was certainly a lucky Cosmic Power (DON'T FORGET TO ANNOUNCE THE NAME! ;/). That's why you play four, though. Huge congrats on your undefeated swiss run and the T4 finish while under the weather, man.
 
Congratulations on your Regionals win Wooper. I'm glad that you won and it won't be long until we see each other at Nationals.

Gratz on your win Spence. I'm starting to be more and more glad I went home with my brother and The King Of Magikarps, even though it was torture. I think I would have fallen asleep on one of the tables....

Way to go, Spencer!! Sorry we couldn't stay for the duration but it was a long day and a long drive back to Richmond. And to Azure Kite please--it's really getting to me--I think you mean "torture"???
 
the guy right next to me n jordan's game scooped like 3 mins into it.. i wus SOOOO jealous.. but yea peter, they never let the little white thing sit there, he always had a growth spurt from too much candy, and then they have a big brown thing that wouldnt let me hit it. CC helps so much in that situation because of that.
 
Congratulations Spencer!!! You have been playing so well all year and you deserve the 1st place.
(PS i cant believe Dusknoir annoyed to the point that he ended up in your slops list ;D)

Azure Kite - Thanks. And yeah, the tournament did go into the wee hours. I was starting to act half my age it was getting so late.

Philip - So are you stalking Azure Kite through the internet because he beat you in swiss? Just kidding bud. You had some bad beats, but instead of dwelling on the past, look forward to ripping it up at Nationals.

Mr. T - Don't worry, I don't hold the fact that you needed to get home against you. Who wants to watch a Magmortar mirror match at midnight? <- Hope you caught that alliteration! =O Thanks for the congrats (and for pointing out that spelling error so that I didn't have to - it was bugging me a bit, as well).

Pablo - Hey, thanks man. I have had a nice season, looking back on it (not that it's over - Nats is just a few months away - you gonna be there?). That's due in large part to the fact that I've caught a break or three as the months have passed. Yours has been pretty good too, though. Every time I see you at a tournament you're running some new rogue deck. Takes guts; keep it up, man.
