That is what I do practice combo's against the CPU's I don't give them an A** whooping I practice my combo's and then when my bro does play with me he look's as his luigi dies lol.
 
yep practicing against a comp. doesnt do much...all it can really do for you is perfect your combos, but playing other people is really the only way to get better.

First off, the best characters are Falco, Fox, CF, and ICs respectively. Sheik's no big deal anymore.

Luigi would do better against F&F than he would versus Sheik, though. He isn't such a great character to start, but he can chain-grab fast-fallers, so he might have a shot if the player can toss in mind-games (mainly wavedashing; since it'd be dumb not to utilize the best wavedash in the game. D:) so that shines are avoided (mainly Fox's in this case, considering it's relatively an OHKO versus Luigi).

Speaking of shines, Luigi just doesn't take a spike. His recovery is down there with Falco's (probably worse), and he's pretty much made to die from any move that sends a character downward. All top-tier matchups are definitely not in his favor.
 
luigi is good if used right like zero said the best wave dash in the game, i agree with those chars. being top if i was to add soemone to that list it would be samus
 
I don't quite see too many Luigi play in meta game. Seriously if you like the character play em. Have fun it isn't all competitive play. Zero makes a good point to Luigi fighting off F&F better than anything. He has terrible recovery and no chance against edge hogs.
 
lol ya...the only good cpu is a lvl 9 w/ all the way handicap so that u pretty much die in one blow and it takes many more to kill em. but, i rarely vs them since i got good ppl near me :biggrin:

I have mastered every combo with fox even the shine combo I have mastered the wavedash the L-cancel The shine dash. It was so funny today I used the shine on my bro while he was near the edge it knocked him off and then you should have seen his face while he was trying th press Up=b and he could not for a couple of seconds becuase of the shine combo lol.
 
Lol. Nice. You have a nice pick list. It's funny how Samus is a counter to Fox and Falco. Told to me by a pro who tried for mid-west team. Kinda opposite how it should be don't you think? :lol: Oh well. Lots of things don't make sense. :sigh: My pick list:

Funny thing is I can take down real good Marth's with my Roy. Just have to be careful around that tip. >_< That thing hurts like hell! My Mewtwo is a real good counter for lots of characters. They mess up and it's even better. Thing is mine can even make an offensive move. Funny cause Mewtwo is usually a defensive character. Wait for them to miss something or screw up and perform a grab combo. Lame. I knew Mewtwo needed a way to approach. He's rather fun to play too. Funny how intense my matches are now with my friends, so intense I actually get angry when I think someone spams something. Good example, Dr. Mario's back kick (seems like reflector) or C.F.'s knee of doom(my nickname for it, more or less all our's). Kinda of annoying but hey. What are you going to do? Keep Whooping some arse that's what!!! :thumb: BTW...random but...how do you get custom avatars?
 
Roy is considered a counter to Marth because although Marth's tip is his "good" range, Roy actually has a tiny bit longer reach on most of his moves than Marth.
 
Yeah Tagrineth I know. And as for peach moza, she is pretty good. I just have no one around here who plays her. However I think she is pretty intense and VERY intimidating used right.
 
peach is good if you dont abuse the blender, ive played her from time to time but not really seriously, my picks for chars.

BTW, I think Vidjo lives near you (Nearer than any of us, anyways. lolz). You should hit him up. His Peach is alright, I mean it's only the best Peach in the nation.
 
samus is a counter to fox and falco.... both their frames get severly comboed by mostly any of samus's moves..any combo you can think will most likely work on them
