Okay, so while testing for Regionals, my brother tried attacking with mesprit la's Extrasensory. However, his opponent had a Giratina Lv X out, which, as I'm sure you know, makes him discard a card. Based on Extrasensory's effect of if you and our opponent have the same hand size, it does 20 + 50, would this extra effect for the attack be applied/checked before or after discarding to attack for Giratina Lv X?
