Metal Scoop clarification

A friend wanted me to get a clarification on Eevee d's Metal Scoop Attack (from Delta Species #68) on what it can actually retrieve from the discard pile.

Metal Scoop: Search your discard pile for a M energy card and attach it to Eevee.

You can retreive a Metal Energy card. (The only thing that provides Metal Energy in the discard pile is the Metal Special Energy card.)
