Pokémon - 18
1 Beldum δ
3 Beldum HL
2 Metang
3 Metagross δ

4 Dratini δ
2 Dragonair δ
3 Dragonite δ

Energy - 17

1 Multi

Trainers - 25
3 Holon Mentor
4 Holon Researcher
4 Holon Ruins
4 Rocket's Admin.
4 TV Reporter
2 Warp Point
4 Rare Candy

Strategy
Fill up bench quickly using Beldum (HL) + Holon Mentor. Use supporters to get out a Metagross δ, then a Dragonite δ, discarding Lightning Energies on the way. Use the Dragonites' power to pull the Lightning Energies back to the bench, Delta Control and attack with Metagross, discarding Lightning Energies if necessary. Can stall with Dragonite's Agility if I have to, or use him to attack vs. fire.

Things considered
Holon Research Tower to help provide the Metal Energy cost, instead of Ruins.
Using a Metagross (HL) in addition to Metagross δ.
Using Plusle (DX) as the starter.

Any help?

Do it...

The only time I would recommend using Holon Ruins is if you plan to use Magcargo and a Delta Pokemon in the same deck.

It's a very interesting idea for a deck. However, I would recommend going with 4 HL Beldum and more switching cards...

Multi can definately be taken out because that conflicts with pokemon with Metal energy on them already...

-1 Beldum Delta
-1 Multi
+1 Beldum HL
+1 Warp Point

You are using 4 Holon ruins so take out 1 Rocket's admin, 1 Multi and 2 Lighting energy and add 2 Slugma DX 2 Magcargo DX that will help you to find the cards that you need ( and also works with Metagross d like Ludicargo ) .

I personally prefer 3 Plusle instead of the 3 Holon's mentor, you have lighting energies so after using call for family he can hit everything with pokepower.

And finally just try 15 Energy cards, you can get some from the discard pile using Draggy's power.

Energy:
11 Lighting
4 Metal

Good luck for your battles!

I appreciate everyone's help.

I think I need to keep the one Beldum δ in there in those cases where I have a Metagross, Rare Candy, and Researcher.

I'm still considering switching stadiums, but I haven't experienced a Metal Energy shortage in my testing so far, and getting out a Holon Ruins first turn has helped a bunch in getting set up. If I did switch, I could get rid of the Multi, but if not I'll keep it for my 5th Metal (knowing not to attach it with another metal expecting it to provide Lightning).

I had a Zapdos ex in there at first, but he just seemed to get in the way, and I'd also have to worry about both Desert Ruins and Battle Frontier.

Plusle would be really nice to have in there, considering I could use both of his attacks, but I'm worried he might actually slow down the deck. I have been able to get a Metagross attacking turn 2 fairly consistently, sometimes even having a Dragonite on the bench as well, making a T2 70 damage possibe as long as I have a Lightning is my discard pile, which is prett easy to do.

Oh, I forgot to say something, It would be a good idea running 4 Celio's Network instead of Holon's Researcher ^_^U.

Good luck for your battles.!

Thanks! The Researchers seem to be more versatile since they can find my Metals for me as well :thumb: I'll just discard a Lightning or an extra Mentor or Ruins.

Run your gyms like this... 3 holon ruins and 2 holon research tower. I find this to be the most consistent and diverse way to run gyms in Metanite.

Good luck =)

Thank you meganium. You don't know how long I've been waiting for someone to fix this. The answer, as Kempley said, is 18 months.

Locking; a year and a half bump renders this woefully out of date. For help with a metanite deck, please see the Archetypes and Standard Strategies article by that title; you'll find it far more up-to-date than this.
