Hi!

I've heard some stories about Mew/Muk/Vileplume/Jumpluff/Yanmega -deck. It sounds like a fun deck to play, so I decided to give it a try. Only problem is, that I have no idea, what those lists usually have inside of them, so I did my own list. I hope that somebody, who has played this deck successfully, could help me with my list and help to make this work. And then, the list:

4 Mew
3-1-3 Vileplume
2 Muk
1 Jumpluff
1 Crobat Prime
3-3 Yanmega
1 Tyrogue
1 Cleffa

= 23 Pokemons

4 Collector
4 PONT
4 Judge
4 Copycat
2 Twins

4 Pokemon Communication
4 Rare Candy

= 26 T/S/S

4 Rainbow Energy
7 Psychic

= 11 Energies

= 60

I guess, that the idea of the deck is to start with Mew and See Off Muk and Jumpluff while building Yanmegas and Vileplume on the bench. With Mew I can use Muk's Sludge Drag and drag something from bench and then kill it with Jumpluffs Mass Attack after it has taken some damage from poison and maybe from confusion, too. Yanmega is the other attacker, that can kill stuff from active position and also snipe bench when something is dying in active position because of poison. And Vileplume locks trainers making the opponents game slower and more difficult.

Help is much appreciated!

You got the basic concept of the deck down.

Have Mew see off Muk and Drag up something with a High retreat cost that preferably cant evolve.
Then set up Vileplume/Yanmega and play Judge to help control. You can tech Weavile/Slowking to further compliment this.
While their active is stuck trying to scramble for energy and is posioned/confused either switch to Yanmega to snipe the Bench or see off a Jumpluff and start Mass attacking.

Your list looks solid. You only need one Jumpluff IMO. Muk is Key whereas jumpluff if just a nice commodity but could not be hitting for much damage if your opponent knows what your doing. I would drop a Jumpluff for a Crobat Prime for those smart people that dont bench things to add mass attack damage/things to snipe. Also Crobat is pro for active Donphans and adds more Sniping options for Mew.

Lastly I think you Juniper isnt that good in here simply because you dont wanna discard your toolbox options if you open with them. Oak may be a better fit.

Thanks for you response, gdubley!

Crobat Prime sounds like a nice addition to the deck, I'll definitely test that. I'll also test those Oaks, it may be better option than Juniper, when thinking that way.
Also one thing that I started thinking about is Cleffa. Is it really worth of one spot or are there better options for it?

I edited the list, does it look better now?

I think 1 Cleffa/1 Tyrogue is the right number in here. Most of your guys have free retreat so you could always Collector/Communication for them to start out.

Your list looks better. Imo your still running too many energy and Copycat needs to be in here for more hand refresh especially when your opponent has a big hand due to the trainer lock or something like Ninetales. Not to mention it further supports your Yanmega

Flower Shop lady in here is an absolute waste in here. It cant even get Rainbow.

IMO this decks biggest problem is the opponents Yanmega. Yangmega is hard to counter anyways and you really dont have anything that can one shot it.

Okey, so I'll do these changes, right?

+ 4 Copycat

- 1 Flower Shop Lady
- 3 Grass

Does that sound good? Or would you suggest something else?

Yeah that could definately work.

Now you have a good framework for the decktype, just go through it and fine tune it to get the best results for your playstyle and techs for certain matchups.
