Mew prime wicked question:

Say I got mew prime as my active pokemon and I got Abra in my lost zone.

It's attack states:
Ultra Evolution - Search your deck for Alakazam and put it onto Abra (this counts as evolving Abra). Shuffle your deck afterward.

It specifically doesn't say "Search your deck for a card that evolves from this pokemon" (in contradiction to many of evoluting attacks). So how is it going to end up? Is mew able to evolve into Alakazam? (And some other weird evo tricks from past like Dark pupitar etc.?)

Mew doesn't have any evolutions.
You can choose to do that attack and search your deck, but you're not going to find an evolution that you can put onto Mew.

And you can't do what the card specifically says to do. The rule book has a paragraph in it forbidding illegal evolutions such as this.
You can also look at rulings on Metronome (either in the current Compendium or maybe older versions) that also cover this principle.
