Mew* questions

I hope these aren't TOO obvious of questions; I couldn't seem to find anyone else asking these in this forum or the compendium...

1st question- Mimicry:
I'm a little thrown by the 'this attack doesn't do anything if you don't have the energy' wording. Does this mean you need to have the energy to trigger Mew* attack (one of any type) PLUS whatever the energy req's are on the poke you are trying to mimic? The original energy used to trigger your attack doesn't count, correct?

More important question - does the type of energy have to match? You must have grass energy attached to mimic a grass pokes powers, etc.?

2nd question- rainbow wave:
If I only have ONE water energy attached, can I use that energy to trigger the attack, and also to qualify as the 'basic energy' to declare that I want to injure all of my opponent's water pokemon?

Thanks a ton! You guys rock!

No, you don't need double the energy. It's just restating it.

Yes, the type of energy has to match. The attack, you meant to say, not pokes powers, right?

One Water will suffice, but you only get to choose Water Pokemon.
