Yes Tom has told me that the Milford City Championship will be January 7, 2006!!!!!

Registration is 10:30 AM
Start is 11:00 AM

and of course it'll be held at

Probably one of his sons has the PC tied up with World of Warcraft (or whatever it is).

WHEN: Saturday, January 7

WHERE: TJ Collectibles, 160 Main St., Milford, MA 01757

REGISTRATION: 10:30-11:00 AM

START TIME: 11:00 AM

FORMAT: Modified Format (decklist required), Age-Modified Swiss Rounds, then cut to finals.

PRIZES:Each Age Group (10-Under, 11-14, 15-Over)

1st Place...City Championship Medal, Pokemon Bag of Goodies, & 18-Boosters

2nd Place...10-Boosters

3rd-4th Places...4-Boosters



Everyone who enters the tournament will receive a free pack of Pokemon cards, as well as a City Championship Promo card, Player’s Pin, and a pack of POP Series-2 Promos, while supplies last. Everyone who plays will also be entered into the raffle for lots of kewl Pokemon stuff!

We will also be holding a Delta Species draft at the end of Swiss Rounds for those of you who do not make it into the finals. Looking forward to seeing you all in Milford!
 
I hate to say it but work trpaped me again so i wont be at this one and ray will be at this one eaither. see ya for the legend maker prerelease.

The Albany contingency will be there tomorrow plus and minus some different faces.
 
How much is the Delta draft? And, is a draft the tourney where you open a pack and pass it to your left or something?
 
I ended up gettig teh day off so i got a ride form johnny blaze and went to this event. I ended up going 5-0 with medicham lock and then getting a top 4 loss and 3 great games against a guy who had a mr mime deck with lonesome houndoom. For a first time with the deck it was the best deck iver seen that day. I liked the way it was oalyed and a buddy got permission to copy it and play so it will be seena gain.

He needed up losing to a local guy who played rocklock.

I have 1 or maybe 2 cities left to get a medal so i will hope to capture it one time.

Bob and Brian for running an awesome event all day and not having any problems when the battles went on.

I forgot his name but the guy who ran teh awesome mr mime ex deck. Amazing run with it and great 2nd place finish.

Nick cap and jake burnside for surrendering on the verge of a victory so the ones you played can move on to fight for a city championship. In selfish times ones would go to win a 2nd city for the reason of pride and you showed that even the best players know when to step down,.

I hope to see u all for the legendmaker prerelease whnever its there

Hey Joe, I'm the guy with the Mr Mime deck, My name is Richard but everyone calls me Rod. Nice recap of the events, I think JohnnyBlaze is gonna post a full report soon. Hope to see and play you again, those were some great matches!
