The strategy here is to use Mew to attack with the Pokemon you have put in the lost zone. Emboar is for your energy attachment.

Why is the Krookodile even in the list if you can't attack with it?

No, you can attack with Krookodile torment for:colorless::colorless:, doing 30 damage with amnesia effect.
But What does rapidash do here ? And is 1 Interviewer 's quesion enough ?
I personally would take out Fisherman and add a Flower shop girl.

Rapidash is for a sleeping baby Pokemon. You can use its attack and lock it in.. burning it in the process.
