So, how you going to do the pairings? #1 seed vs. #12, #2 vs. #11, etc., or just random pairings again?
 
Well the play offs aren't going to start untill the loser's bracket is over right? Random pairings it says that on the first page under playoffs i beleive.
 
I'm back from my trip. Instead of sifting through a few pages(namly cause i'm lazy), What been happening while i've been gone?

Not much of anything to be honest. We got a few rounds finished and started the Loser's Bracket to determine the wildcards.

Not sure yet, haven't decided. Which way do you guys want me to do it?

Yes, playoffs start after loser's bracket is over.
 
the 4 people at 3-0 should get byes for Top 8, and the 4 loser bracket people who make the play off's play the other 4 wo made it in at 2-1.
 
Yeah i think what pablo says sounds right since we already won all our games soo far, so we should get to take a break for a round. Do w/e you want though.
 
Um, no, why should 3-0 people get a break? That wouldn't be fair for anyone else who worked just as hard to make the playoffs initially. Besides, we're all technically getting a break while the Loser's Bracket is being sorted.
 
There shouldn't even BE a losers bracket and we wouldnt have this issue! we would have a clear top 8 and just go from there, but there is a losers bracket, and thus we get 12, and after single elim we get 6, then 3, so the question is, do you award byes for Top 8, Top 4 or Top 2? makes the most sense to award them for Top 8. Hw todecide them I just thoght the higher ranked players would be fair, its ok for you guy to disagree butthen PROPOSE something. Getting rid of the Losers bracket and just moving on from the play offs solves this, but obviously no one wants that.

And trust me, I don't want special treatment, I want to battle as much as possible, I'm jut giving my view on te LOGICAL and FAIR thing to do. If you guys have any beter idea to move on from 12 to 6 to 3 to 2 then be my guests.
 
I dunno...granted, if this was some massive 64-person tournament, a Loser's Bracket would be ok, but now that I think about it, Spoinkmaster is right about 75% of the participants making the top cut...

So what! That just means more battling later. So i suggest that all those in the Playoffs be ready, cause i forsee team changing and new strats.
