well this is my current darkrai deck, i really need suggestion :confused::confused::confused:

:dark:3-1(sleephole) darkrai lv x
:dark:4-4 houndoom
:fighting:2-2 claydol
:water:2-2 weavile (shadow charge)
------------------------------20

4 bebe's search
2 rossane's reseach
2 premiere ball
2 energy restore
4 night maintenance
2 moonlight stadium
1 scott
3 felicity's drawing
------------------------------20

:dark:15 dark energy
:fire:5 fire energy
------------------------------20

the main strategy is to (luckily) get sneasel for the first turn and quickly pu weavile to have it shadow charge to the darkrais at the bench and to use premiere ball ( and bebe's search) to get darkrai lv x from the deck or from the discard pile once a darkrai is knocked out and continued by the other darkrai. houndoom is good since it could get 70 damage with 2 energy with 80/90 possibilites with darkrai lvx on the bench

i used 4 night maintenance to return darkrai and the lv x to the deck and the energy restore to get some energy since houndoom is discarding one

i really need help to improve this :frown::frown::frown::frown:

i think you should drop claydol, but thats just me. also drop the 4-4 houndoom for a 2-2 wiggly, and a 2-0-2 pigeot tech, but that's how i would play it, u can use it however you would like.

Hmmm, I like what I see, but some advice:

Drop 2x Nightmainatence and 2 darkness energy and add 4x Absol, it's a great starter.

What pokemon do you want to play with in your Darkrai deck?
Do you think you need the Claydol acceleration?
Or do you want some interesting twists with Houndoom?

I personnaly play Darkrai with Togekiss and the 2 Weaviles.
Believe me if I say that Weavile DP can do an easy 200 damage if allowed to set up when Darkrai lv.X is in play.
And Togekiss is to defend against the large amount of :fighting: weak cards.
It's also a surprise killer with Weavile SW and Darkrai lv.X in play! That is always good for a laugh.

I am not saying my deck is perfect.
I am still adjusting it. There is always room for updates and upgrades.

You should play Multi Energy or DRE for Houndoom. They trigger both damage effects (Extra damage + burn) when you discard them.

From the Compendium
Q. When using Houndoom's "Black Fire" attack, what happens if I discard an Energy card that provides multiple types of Energy at the same time?
A. If the Energy card you discarded provides all types (for example, Rainbow Energy), then both effects would trigger - the "Black Fire" attack would to 70 damage AND apply the Burned Special Condition to the Defending Pokemon. (DP:Great Encounters FAQ; Feb 21, 2008 PUI Rules Team)

Good luck,
Jeff

While I think that both togekiss and wigglytuff are good decks I like the wiggly way better. Wiggly works every turn and can provide the pinch hitter that togekiss offers. Also, Having darkrai do 110 per turn is enough to knock out a gardevoir OR a Magmortar, and by attaching two more energies (or one and a plus power) you can knock out a Gallade or MagX.
For Wiggly, run it with Weavile Claydol and Wiggly line. Its a tight fit but you can even add honchkrow in. I know it seems like alot of pokemon but with each of them only being a stage one it isnt that hard to get it all out.
Use a Ball engine with igglybuff as your starter, you get a sneasel out pretty quickly that way. Also a wiggly that came from iggly is
a good attacker once you add in the dark engage if you have any special darks on him.
Either way you play it, at least 3 sydneys stadium is a must. None of your pokemon have big retreat costs and with weavile (or togekiss) you shoud have plenty of energy to retreat with.
