My Garchomp deck.

I've tried it with Flygon EX d. It's not worth the 2 prizes. Once you get it up, more than likely, your opponent is going to be set up. With 2P in its attack, you have to concede to not having at least 1 of every type of Energy. The build I was testing yesterday has an added Lunatone and 2 different Restore Pokémon requiring 1 type-specific Energy (ie [G][C][C]) in their attacks each.

Since your using that many different Energys, i know your strategy.
You need at least 1-1 Togekiss. Togekiss speeds up Garchomp so it can attack woth 110 damage faster
Many players here in Stavanger plays this deck, it even won one of our Battle Roads!
Garchomp LV.X is just an opportunity to make the deck better!

So I nead claydol for this, huh? I was going to try it with delcatty and togakiss some time.

i think gallade is a decent tech for restore, i like it more than most other ideas but it's still a slow concept if you've ever actually played a game with the deck

Tech in a Flygon ex (d). And some other pokes for Garchomp Lv.X.

Like ^ said, Gallade wouldn't be bad either.

I think the real value of Garchomp Lv.X is the "Pluspower" factor. Getting more Pokemon within the 110 range is really powerful. Also the +10 HP is never a bad thing.

I predict that the restore attack, after much experimentation will be best used bringing back Garchomp itself then use Premier ball to level up. The other combos will prove too slow and complex.

Yeah, I've been thinking of trying STRAIGHT garch. Nothing else. Wonder how that would work...

Hm... good point... maybe a few techs, like blastoise d. (That's starting to sound like my old list...)

Crystal Beach helps the Blissey matchup quite a bit...but agreed that's a tough matchup. Fortunately G-G blew out 80+ % of Blissey players.

Yeah, after testing, I'm DEFINENTLY using Crystal Beach. It's so useful against most anything. Blissey is hard, though. I have a blissey-togekiss deck, and it gets T2 blissy every time, picking you off quick. (One time I got a T1 Blissey with boost energy. Ouch...)

straight garchomp would be really weak to blissey

I played a kid with a BlissKiss deck and prized both Garchomps (no more 2-2 for me!).

That's why Gallade is so good for Garchomp. You figure, any Colorless that's being played is going to have a Fighting or Electric Weakness, yknow? I've been seeing some lists that run Ampharos. I hate the 3 Retreat Cost though.

I reckon you should try to make room for a Ho-oh (SW) as it would easily fit into ur deck as you have all the different energys in ur deck. Also i think Bebe's searh would be useful in this deck.

2 Pachi
2 Phione
3-3-3-1 Chomp
2 Flygon Ex d
2-2 Delcatty

4 TVR
2-3 Felicity
3 Premiere Balls

That is all you need.. trust me! with that much thinning and that much draw and dump, it sets up sick, even with starters! Restoring a Delcatty or Chomp is not a bad thing to get around BF either.

Good Luck with it!

What a Beast you have here! Will we see this friday night?

I've been testing it, and Gallade is a great tech for this.If your having trouble OHKOing the enemy this is a great way to do it.It also gets around eevee decks quite nicely.

Here are my fixes: -2 Windstorm -1 Furret -Gible +3 Crystal Beach(your opponent will hate you and will improve the GG match-up) +1 Sentret(you want to start out with this guy). I feel you have to many energy. Maybe add in a NM or 2.

NM compared to Garch x is useles. I like runing 4 gibles. It works well. I have 2 Crystal Beach in my deck, and they work wonders. The current setup of my deck is different than what I have posted. It uses a 2-2 furret line. It's what I'm defenently using at my first BR tomarow, so I may post it later, but not now. Added at 8:01 pm: I got the garchomp Lv.x I neaded today at leage!!!! Now I'm ready...

There is one other Tech you Might consider do to the growth of EmpoTine decks, Breloom. With them getting Free Retreat from Mantine, it allows Breloom to hit for 120, which if you get at least 1 Heads with GarchX, it kos them! Also, this gives you a solid hitter for mirror do to the Free Retreat cost and also gives you a counter for Kabutops!

just another suggestion!!

Good Luck with your BR!!
