spinning tail ive found is actually the way to play this deck, i usually am taking 3-5 prizes turn 6 combo'ed with omastar.

i like tyranitar, but a friend of mine says the players just over hype it and think they are good.
oh well, i wanna play gyarados.
he is wicked cool.
by the way,
why don't you max out on the bebe's
and rosies.
other than that
i think it is a GREAT DECK

Try taking the Drawer + out and putting in Energy Link. Being able to move energy around gives Tyranitar a big advantage. Plus you can move the Specials around to keep them in play longer.

Like Grinning Gengar said, Energy Link is an amazing play with this deck.

Spinning Tail is the attack to go with honestly.
With the spinning tail strategy; A 1-0-1 Omastar is one of the best available techs with this deck, Dropping the Omastar at ANY point in the game is amazing. If you do choose to play an omastar, add in a few Team Galactic's Wager, devolve their pokemon and then deprive them of their hand which is full of their higher stage pokemon.

I have a slightly different take on T-Tar than the other posters. I like the attack of Spinning Tail but Grind is the Game Winner (at least has been for me). I am also a firm believer in Darkrai Lvx in this deck the extra damage output can just destroy any pokemon they pull forward (in the mirror it is great as well allowing you to OHKO their T-Tars) Here is a version I made Top Cut with at a Cities this year.

4 Sableye
3-2-3 T-Tar
3-3 Weavile
2-2 Darkrai LVX
2-2 Claydol

4 Rare Candy
3 Roseanne's Research
3 Bebe's Search
1 Luxury Ball
2 Felicity's Drawing
2 Night Maintenance
2 Moonlight Stadium
2 Warp Point

4 Special Dark
11 Dark
(only 15 energy and T-Tar is the only Pokemon I pretty much play energy on, unless Sableye needs to retreat or can donk something)

I have changed the deck some for the next cities I plan on attending this weekend, if interested in that list (it is more teched out) just give me a private messages.

hmm...this is in need of some fixing...

-2-2 Weavile
+2-2 Darkrai

With the Darkrai, you get extra damage, and you really only need a 1-1 Weavile tech in case they don't play powers.

-1 Moonlight Stadium
-2 Cynthia's
+1 Bebe's
+1 Roseanne's
+1 Azelf LA

This should make the deck work a bit better, this is a very good starting list though

Nah, I would keep the weaviles! Getting a T1/2 weavile is sick and you can be hitting for massive damage by T3. Ironically I was looking at this list and thinking about how maybe a straigt up beatdown Ttar with 4-4 weavile and 3-2-3 Ttar would be sick! Weavile start the majority of the time and fully powered by T3, maybe with omastar tech. I'm really starting to find very simple decks to be extremely effective in this current format. Speed with consistancy is the main key, but being able to deal some massive damage/spread on top of that would be great!

For your list try
-4 pokedrawer+ (as much as I like it, I think it may be slowing this deck down)
+1 each of bebe's and roseanne's
+1-0-1 omastar OR +2 Cynthias, whichever you want. Omastar can be devastating in this deck, but some more cynthia's may help give you a massive startoff, and even more massive comeback capabilities. Or maybe +2 cynthias instead of the 1/1 bebe's/roseanne's

Just some thoughts...
