Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

NA Professor Cup eligibility requirements changed

I think it's currently 10 points per day at a large event, so Worlds has been 30 or 40.
But I believe POP is looking at changing that, which makes sense to me.
These big events are 18 hour days. Just ask my wife!

hm, didnt last years winner get an invite?
You mean, does Shawn Gettys (last year's Prof Cup Champ) get a free trip back to Origins to defend? Not unless PUI added that perk later.

Hey guys. It's kinda last second, but I was wondering if you guys needed another Judge for this thing. I got nothing to do Friday, so I'm up for it :-D! I judged a few tourneys last season, so im a bit experienced. LMK!

wait...who is head judging this thi--
wait...
don't tell me...is it who i think it is? (does it?)

Maybe, they might have the mini-judges take care of this tourney again. I think they did a great job and it was a nice twist, so that would be cool to see again.

Not the same mini-judges though :frown:

Only fair to spread this love around.

My guys had an absolute blast with Anna and Taylor and Fulop last year!

I know this year's judges will have just as much fun!

after reading, i believe that the prize shoujld be a staff position at worlds.

IMO the entry should be from 50-500 points for future events. Ill see all of ya tomorrow!!! GL all

I think the following would make the cup more of the reward that it is supposed to be, for ppl that give their time to the game and not worrying about the ratings and other stuff.

1) Make the entry requirement 50 points (at least).
2) The grand prize should include a trip to World's - to be on judging staff, not to play.

This should be for both the NA and Europe Cup.

Wayne: IMO, it should be on staff. If they know you have judged alot and want you to judge also, fine. Many people earn points by organising the leages, run events, but not particularily judge the events. It could be an error to say the winner WILL be on judge staff, just make them STAFF. POP will find a good place to for them!

Keith,

Good point, some ppl that do give alot of their time to Pokemon do not wish to Judge. I'm sure there are plenty of things at World's that need staffing, but not Judging... registration, DC, Information, ect.

Again good point. Make the trip to World's to be of Staff, Judging if they wish to do so (and there is a space).
