Just an idea for a fun deck to play. The deck uses Garbotoxin Garbodor to lock down Abilities and Plasma Freeze Dragonite to prevent the use of Item Cards. Double Colorless gets D.nite up and running in a hurry. Mewtwo EX complements D. Colorless nicely, as well, making it my EX support of choice.

I was also maybe thinking of squeezing in some Float Stones or Silver Mirrors with the propagation of Plasma decks.

Pokemox x18
Dragonite x4
Dragonair x1
Dratini x4
Trubbish x4
Garbodor x4
Mewtwo EX x1

Trainers x29
Skyla x2
Colress x2
N x3
Juniper x3
Computer Search x1
Ultra Ball x1
Heavy Ball x2
Rare Candy x3
Silver Bangle x4
Energy Search x2
Random Receiver x1
Hypnotoxic x2
Virbank City Gym x1
Switch x2

Energy x 13
Blend PFGD x4
Double Colorless x4
Grass x2
Electric x3

I like the idea. I think your idea of float stones and mirrors would play well with the Garbos. Lose the lasers and virbank for them?

I've wanted to try something like this as well. i quite like the concept of the deck, i just always had trouble pulling it off, but looking at your list, it seems like a better version of what i created a while back.

i feel float stones are a definitie must for a deck like this, especially with so many heavy pokemon, and silver mirror would be a good addition as well. My basic suggestions would be:

-2 energy search (since you only have 5 basic energy in the deck)
-2 silver bangle (4 just seemed like overkill to me, but to each their own)

+ 2 float stone
+ 2 silver mirror

Course this is just one small suggestion, if you preferred to keep the bangles and searches as efyoo2 suggestion, the lasers and virbank could be taken out for the stones and mirrors.

Hope this helps ^^

Yeah, I went against a Zebstrika deck which tried to work the same way, but just didn't have the damage output needed to win (Chandelure totally wrecked it)

Laser Bank is in there to counter Frozen City, unless there's a better stadium to use (One that adds an additional lock, perhaps?)

2 bangles for 2 mirrors seems fair. Maybe 1 Search and 1 Switch for Float Stone?

You really don't need a 4-4 line for Garbodor.

3-3 at the most. Ive ran plenty of Garbodor decks and there was just never a need for 4-4.. and really, I ran a 2-2, but that was with Big Basics. And the ability lock was more of an extra benefit rather than a constant NEEDED lock like this deck.

I'd say add another laser at least, add some catchers so they can't just fill their bench up and keep attaching energy at will.

I agree with the Bangle decrease, 2 is fine, as you're more worried about locking and surviving than hitting for more damage.

Ive had this deck idea in my mind for a while, and think it will be a very entertaining decent deck to run. Let's keep fine tuning this and hopefully you can really cause issues.

the grass/lightning energy is interesting.. you really never want to bother with Dragonite's second attack, and 90% of the time you will never need to use Dratini/Dragonairs attack. Feel like you can use those spots for other cards.

I see where you're coming from. I did a few test draws and tended to get burdened by the Garbodors. Are there some good EX's that would fit in here besides Mewtwo EX. I looked at the Grass ad Electric EX's, but none of them really fit. Genesect with G-Scope would let me snipe the bench, but I'd have to give up Computer Search and it doesn't really play to Genesect's strengths.

Like I said before, the Zebstrika deck I faced before lacked damage output. If the higher damage would net me a quicker win, then I'd use it.

I run this deck and have found that you don't need anything else besides Garbo and Dragonite... The Mewtwo can hurt your consistent Item Lock goal.

ZOMGSECRETBRDECKLEAKED!!!! lol

This is the list we've been experimenting with along with why :

4-0-3 Dragonite
3-2 Garbodor

4 N
4 Skyla
3 Colress
1 Ghetsis

2 Tropical Beach
4 Rare Candy
4 Silver Mirror (or 3+ a tool scrapper)
3 Heavy Ball
3 Level Ball
3 Float Stone
3 Pokemon Catcher
1 Super Rod
1 Dowsing Machine
4 DCE
4 Grass
4 Electric

Beach is used to setup turn 2, a bit easier. We opted for the heavy/level balls, rather than ultra, because you rarely ever want to discard any pieces. We opted for no laser in favor of a more consistent execution of trainer lock. Damage output can be a bit sluggish. Yet with powers/plasma/items locked up, you can often Cakewalk to 6 prizes. It's by no means a BDIF, but our list does what it's supposed to.

The deck can trounce an unsuspecting meta full of Virgen and TDK. It's a bunch of fun to play and however you build it, I wish you luck.

What about Hydreigon/Darkrai decks?
