Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

NDS Web Browser

Last i heard though, the DS requires a different copy of the Web Browser than the DS lite. The DS Lite version you can get at stores, the DS version is only sold online from Nintendo i believe.

I had the japanese version for a while. Its a Ok browser for general browsing, but dont expect to be able to go on youtube or anything. it dosent play any flash. there is also slow loading, buts its nice to have when you away from the computer and want to do little stuff.

There are two versions because it needs a RAM expansion pack, and since the NDSLite is smaller, it comes with a smaller RAM Pack that won't fit in the NDS's Slot-2. You can use the one meant for the original DS in the DSLite, but you'll have a bit sticking out of the bottom like a GBA game. The actual software is identical.

The Japanese and European releases didn't support sound/video or Flash, but NoA have said that the US version will include a Flash player; but just how compatible it will be with the "real" Flash is yet to be seen.

Overall the browser is very easy to use, and better than no browser; but page rendering is rather sluggish. Also, connecting to a NWC hotspot doesn't mean free web browsing; you'll be taken to the login page and have to pay to use the service, so it's only really good for using at home (where it's pretty pointless) and for free, unsecured public networks (which are limited).

i need to buy this so when my sister kicks me off my computer i can just use my nds =D does it state how much it will cost?

It's been out here a while but I hear it's not particularly good; if you really want to browse the web on your DS I suggest getting a flash card instead and using one of the open-source homebrews. I do not support piracy - in fact, that's the reason I've so far refused to get one - but I'm perfectly fine with the idea of homebrews.

Useless to me. I can just use my PS3 to gt into the Internet, and my PSP to connect to it, allowing me access to the internet at all hours. Also, I can use it even further to do internet stuff on my big screen TV. Yes, I am aware of the large size of my head. Why do you ask?

Boy, oh boy... I just got it today, and it took me 10 minutes to log in and type this message.

By the way, Meebo does not seem to work.
