Hey everyone, this is my first post and already loving the forums!

Dealing with a possible fake booster box, 1st edition spanish, with factory wrapping.

It has the wizards logos but it seems like some of them are scrapping off, which I am not sure if odd or just the length of how long the box has been around.

I have never bought one before and am just getting into the collecting scene!

Here are the upload pictures, thank you for your time!

From the videos I watched (the person has closed their channel sadly), the WotC logos can be easily rubbed off with erasers. I wouldn't be surprised if they had worn off over time. The reason this is concerning with box collectors is that some sellers will rub off the logos in order to make the box appear to have been wrapped without them which is a much more rare box. I'm not extremely well versed in sealed WotC boxes but that's what I know about them :thumb:

Thank you very much for the quick reply. The person selling them on Ebay has a good rep, and has sold multiple other booster boxes, which leads me to think there is not an issue. The purchase price goes along with the usual $500-$700 range, which also leads me to think if someone was going to fake, they would do it with the more expensive boxes. I really appreciate the heads up that the logos can come off though.

Last question, is the wrapping on the sides, the part where it looks like someone sunk their teeth in, normal?

Usually boxes have a tighter wrapping on them but depending on how it was applied, it can be a little loose. I suspect that this wrapping wasn't given enough heat to seal extremely tight. The look that you're describing can be seen in other every day items that are sealed in a saran wrap, nothing to worry about as far as I'm concerned.

It might be easier to spot fake cards when you take them out of the packs. Usually, they have grainy printing. It's difficult to tell whether the cards are authentic simply by looking at the wrapping.
