i have decided to try bringing this deck back to competive play with the advent of flygon and diminished kingdra being played, i switched decks at battle roads for a while. i know that regi has even matchups all around with lower for machamp and higher for flygon. i have worked on this deck alot this year but i dont know if it has enough omph to push out for worlds. i have practiced with the deck all year and against every deck i can get my hands on, its the most comfortable deck to me. please help if you can and comments on the build will help me alot as well. thanks in advance.

a similar strategy just get your regi into play as fast as you can. once he is set up start to take prizes by adding crobat and/or pluspower damage to his attacks. if you have to go ahead and turn him dark with weavile to bypass resistence and/or increase his damage with a special dark. the main thing to remember when playing this list is to let the deck do the work for you, if you push it you will sacrifice your size and power.

run one with slow start. If you dont start with it you can use it as your second attacker Because of sacrifice It really helps me at least.

But if you do start with it.....to me, i would rather have the consistency then the potential of a bigger attack later in the game. Doing 60, possibly 80, knocking out a starting basic and damaging a threat early is better than being able to do 120 late.

i havnt really seen too many people playing machamps anymore. only as techs. its still good to be prepaired. i took on 5 fighting decks out of my 9 matches in grinder of 2007 with a mostly fighting weak deck. i was only 1 win away from grinding in too.

i have tried mespirit before it just didnt have as much punch as a legos deck in power stopping. i would prefer a stronger azelf line to a mespirit in this deck.

the pokemon rescue should help.

any more help. i will get to testing.

after playtesting i didnt use the weavile or 2 special darks as much outside of the gengar matchup. so i am going to take them out. any suggestions?

so i take it that my build is good enough.

Instead of the weavile I would add in a 1-1 Palkia lvX line (the regular one, not the SP one) as well as some switches. This allows you to choose what comes out from the bench and then switch back to regi and get the KO. Gengar will be a hard matchup without the weavile, though, but if you're carful you could try to only take out the benched pokemon with palkia and gengars with your uxies.

thanks for the list, i have started making alternate deck with mespirit.

palkia lvx lost its luster once powerspray came into play, luxray lvx sealed its fate. besides palkia is to many spaces in the deck.
1palkia lvx
2palkia
1primier ball
4switch
1warp point
9 cards
i guess i could try again, but sps dominate palkia. could i get some back up on this debate?

but Palkia is GOD in this deck, this deck not is the best option to this tornaments, but is a nice deck.. whitout palkia it lose 50% of potencial..

good luck whit that :)

You must have Mesprit and Palkia in this deck for it to function. MAX Mesprit since you want to do a psychic bind every turn.

3 Regi LA
1 Regi Lv.X
4 Mesprit LA
2 Uxie LA
1 Uxie Lv.X
1 Azelf LA
2 Palkia PL
1 Palkia Lv.X
1 Regiice LA
1 Baltoy GE
1 Claydol GE
2 Unown G

4 Roseannes
4 Pokehealer +
4 SSU
4 Switch
2 Felicity Drawing
2 Bebes
3 Premier Ball
1 Luxury Ball
2 Night Maintenance
1 Time Space Distortion
1 Cynthias Feeling

4 Call
Water
Fighting
Metal Base

real basic and based around Gigas and Palkia being able to be the attackers. Gigas can always support Palkia for clean up. They both disrupt with spread and Palkia X attack if attached all three water energy, can move around to power Gigas or another Palkia for recovery. Gigas is super skill, if you havent played it, before then I wouldn't suggest it now since it would hurt you more than help.

Banette's list looks really good just try to get an azelf MT in. Also I ran a ditto with some multi energy in my cites list and that seemed to help gengar a ton.
