hi

With all the trainer lock and retreat cost increase it may help to get some special conditoins from the bench as well as in your attack. you could put in say a houndoom for burn, drapion lv. X for 3 counter posion or even hypno for bench sleep.
Also the addition of blaziken to drag up and burn the pokemon you want to attack will help against any Dialga G. lv. X which will knock off you're Poke-bodies. Or even a few pokemon reversals as he will be you're main problem.
Also with the sunflora you could try more of a hand disruption by upping judge and lookers. It wont be too much of a problem getting what you need but will hinder the set up of you're opponent.

-1 Victreebell TM
+1 Victreebell LA

I play Victreebell/Vileplume and an umbreon tech would completely wall your deck. LA is also good for dragging stuff off the bench.

I think a Steelix would MURDER this deck w/o a Dialga G X because of its pokebody protecting status conditions...
Have you thought about a Drag Off muk? Or adding a Skuntank G/Venosaur SV combo? Venosaur would protect your grass from statuses, and a skuntank G would poison your opponent from the bench.
I know you can't run ALL of these... But I think a Skuntank G, Venosaur, and (possibly) a Vespiquen to protect bench would be GREAT. :) those with sunflora...

^ I definatly agree with this strategy. Venosaur is fantastic with any grass type deck and smart Idea with the skuntank, never thought of that before. Kudos to you :thumb:

You're quite welcome :)
And I would keep Miasma Valley in unless you're gonna do a BTS/Seeker combo. :p But... Seeing as your retreats are MASSIVE, i wouldn't. :p

Adding in a Venesaur line would no doubt ruin this deck's consitency.

I disagree. (not in a 'YOU'RE WRONG!' kinda way but... our opinions differ kinda way.)
Adding it would allow him to
1) spiritomb start.
2) Collector a Sunkern, Bulbasaur, and a bellspout.
3) Immediately evolve Sunkern to Sunflora using Spiritomb.
4) Use Sunflora and Spiritomb to completely set up chains by t3.

This is assuming that Spiritomb doesn't die... But if it does, WHO CARES? it's not gonna affect it but by like... a turn. This is also without any T/S/S. If you have a BTS out, even faster. If you use Bebe's or other searches. Even FASTER!
Venosaur will not wreck the consistency... only add a tech.
Plus. You could add a 1-1-1 or a 1-0-1 and wait till spiritomb is dead to rare candy him up.
The defence respectfully rests its case.

I see what you're getting at but let's say you run 2-2-2 Venesaur.
It's gonna be really hard to get out Venesaur, Victreebel, AND Vileplume before your opponent sets up and starts taking board control.

I know this thread is a bit old but OP has been getting a lot of bad advice. I would beef up the Victreebel line by 1-1-1 but use an LA Victreebel, it counters Dialga G as well as Steelix Prime. Alternately you could use Memory Berry with more Seekers and some Warp Energy's to use Bellsprout's Inviting Scent. If you do, replace Miasma with BTS.

If you choose not to go the Memory Berry route and are after more consistency as your post says, go with 4 Collector (with 4 Spiritomb and 2-2 Sunflora line, getting basics out is imperative), maybe add an extra Bebe's Search as well. Call Energy is always an option. I'd advise that you go without Luxury Ball and Rare Candy due to the trainer locking nature of the deck.

It's not a bad list, if you stick with 3-3-3 Victreebel, another thing to consider is a Blaziken FB Lv.X tech but that requires fire energy and can hurt consistency. Victreeplume is a fun deck to play and you can play around with your supporter lines a lot as well as Warp/Rescue/Call Energy. Also, don't add Venusaur.
