New 3DS XL with BW 2

Hi, Received a new 3DS XL and am wondering what will happen when I play my white 2 game in the new unit? Will I lose my game sync ID? Will I be able to tuck in Pokemon, receive league promo pokemon, etc? I have heard everything from "don't do it!" (and keep playing on a smaller screen?) to "no problem"... Thanks for the help!

the Game sync has no effect on your on the DS. The only thing that would effect your Game is the Friend code thats the only thing that will change

EDIT: you won't lose and pokemon either

The Game Sync ID is your save data thats stored in your game, not your DS/3DS. I've played my W2 on my friend's 3DS at their house and still connected with Game Sync online. I was able to play in the dream world also. The only thing that will change, just like pokemonrocks777 said, your friend code is the only thing that will change and youll lose all of your previous friend codes also. Pokemon/game data/ ect wont be lost.
